Our stay at Pikake Hale was fantastic. There were 10 of us and plenty of room for everyone. The sunsets were fantastic, didn't miss one all week. Downtown Kailua is great place for dining and shopping. Buzz's, Lucy's and Pinky's were great places to get Hawaiian flavors and delicious fresh fish. Lori and Dave were wonderful hosts and there was nothing we were missing at the house. Everything we needed was available. We would recommend Pikake Hale as the perfect vacation home...looking forward to more time in paradise! Thank you, Sharin Geister, Lincoln, CA
Dave and Lori were wonderful. The house was perfect for our family. We renewed our wedding vows on our 40th anniversary on Sunset Beach at Sunset and the day was more than we could have hoped for. We dined at Ola which was the most perfect restaurant.....open to the beach with food that is out of this world.
Having the whole family together for this week was a first and hopefully it won't be the last. We were all very sad to leave but we will definately be back.
I would recommend Dave and Lori's house to anyone. We lacked nothing while we stayed there and it made the perfect gathering place when we were all together.

What a wonderful house! The house was spacious and easily accomodated our multi-generational group. We enjoyed taking breakfast each monring in the beautiful, tropical courtyard. Having the house only a short walk from the beach, we could not resist getting up each morning and see the sunrise. We appreciated the owners, Dave and Lori, providing beach towels, boogie boards and beach toys. We would definately recommend this house to others.

-stay in the windward side, not waikiki
-park at the honolulu zoo for 25cents per hour for up to 4 hrs, close enough to kalakua ave for everything you need.
-going to kaneohe bay
Anyway, it was a wonderful house Pikake Hale 10.
We have spended a very very very wonderful time.
The orner is very very kind.
We wish to express our gratitude for the orner and Vacation Rental Agent.
Because the time of the airplane, we have gone out the house early morning.
I'm sorry that it is not possible to meet to the orner.

Our family group ranged in age from 73 to 3, and there was something there for eveyone. It was the perfect spot, close to the beach, spacious, and with all the condiments and beach toys provided. The surf was perfect for amateurs, and even the three year old could enjoy riding the boogie boards. The spacious lanai was our favorite hangout, with its comfortable furniture, hot tub and its own refrigerator and gas grille. The ceiling fans kept the breezes flowing through the rooms, making them very comfortable. The owners, Dave and Lori, were very helpful in recommending places to see and eat, and how to get to other places of interest. We thought the place was perfect, and will stay here again the next time we come to Hawaii. We highly recommend Pikake Hale 10!!
Great house for family get together.
The unit was great. We had nine people and one night ten. There was sufficient space so that we weren't on top of each other. The kitchen is great to work in. Comfortable beds.
Pikake Hale 10 is a beautiful home with fantastic amenities! The lanai was perfect for dinner for all of us, the jacuzzi was wonderful (even in the summer) the great room was cool and breezy, the kitchen was very well stocked - the beach is the best in the world!! We will definitly come back
We loved the house. It was very comfortable for everyone. We really appreciated all the little extras (beach gear, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc.) The location was great too. Very easy access to the beach. We would stay there again.
The hosts are marvelous and the house extremely spacious yet homey and comfortable. They have everything you need there too -- so a lot less packing for their guests! We highly recommend this rental.
Our vacation at Pikake Hale in Kailua couldn't have been more wonderful. The home is well laid out, perfectly equipped, immaculate, tastefully decorated and wonderfully located. Kailua beach is beautiful - as in Laniki, which is only minutes away. There is so much to do in Kailua, and Pikake Hale is so pleasant and relaxing, it's hard to venture to other areas of the island. We look forward to staying at Pikake Hale again!
Pikake Hale is a great house to stay in if you want to have a relaxing and no stress vacation. the home is set up great for a family, and the amentities are perfect. Kailua is a wonderful town and setting. The beach which is just a few yards away is alos fantastic. The owners have set it up perfectly. Will come back again.
My family and I rented Pikake Hale 10 to help celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We were extremely pleased with the accomodations, the lovely home, and the beautiful beach. The home was a great place to relax after a day of sight-seeing, or to simply spend the whole day playing and relaxing on the beach. Our only regret was that the week went by so quickly.
