The facility was great it is connected to Audreys house but you have all the privacy you need. The accomodations fit us well. Kailua beach is by far the nicest on the island. The water is clean and the sand is beautiful. Very easy to access the beach. The best restaurant for breakfast is Kimos and Boots in Kailua get the macedamion nut pancakes and the best Italian restaurant is Assiagos in Kailua. We went on a helicopeter ride which was well worth the 175.00 a piece. Audreys is great to work with
We really enjoyed our stay in the Plumeria studio. The house has a wonderful and big backyard with nice palm trees and a warm swimming pool. It is a calm and peaceful place - very near the beach.. The room is quiet small and you need to turn on the fan during the day (otherwhise it will be very hot!!) - but normally you make lots of trips around the island or you're at the beach the whole day so you really don't need more space. The house owner lives in the same house which is also very practical.
We really loved the studio - it is beautiful, very clean and the hospitality is great!
I do not recall if I paid a security deposit.
The Plumeria Studio was a very relaxing and quiet place to stay. Audry, the owner is was very gracious and I would recommend this place to others.
The studio was comfortable, quiet, and privately accessible. Audry was personable, friendly, and kind enough to help us locate a PCA Presbyterian Church nearby, which we enjoyed. After four nights at the Hilton Beach Resort, we enjoyed the peace and slower pace.
It was a great stay in a lovely atmosphere and a very clean and beautiful studio. The pool and the garden was excellent for relaxing after a interesting day at the island. We enjoyed in the evening a perfect meal at the Outback restaurant.
What I liked best about the rental was it's cleanliness and convenient location. The best restaurant we found for breakfast was Cinnamon's Restaurant (http://www.cinnamonsrestaurant.com), less than 2 miles away from Plumeria studio. Guesthouse has many maps and menus of the local restaurants in the area. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be to turn on the AC before bedtime, turn off at bedtime and sleep with all windows/doors open.
Plumeria Studio was just perfect for us. Private, and beautiful, well appointed with a very gracious host /owner. What I would consider the best beaches on Oahu within walking distance, situated in a small town away from the crowds, convenient to everything. Several nice restaurants, but give Buzz's a try for great seafood specialties, Pinky's for Hawaiian original dishes and Zia's Caffe' for Italian. Breakfast lovers musts; Cinnamon's, and Agnes' Portuguese Bake Shop, for the best malasadas anywhere. Mahalo to Hawaiian Beach Rentals for making it all happen.
Audrey the Owner was a great person. She left you alone but also took care of your needs. The pool and the backyard were basically ours no else sat back there. She has a little bunny that lives in the backyard and he put a smile on my face everytime I saw him. It was nice and quite and was perfect. I would definitely come back. : )

OUR HOST, AUDREY, IS A LOVELY LADY. NUBIE, THE BACKYARD BUNNY, WAS AN EXTRA SPECIAL TREAT. THE PLUMERIA STUDIO WAS IMMACULATE. THE AREA IS VERY QUIET & IS ONLY A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH. WE WOULD DEFINITEY STAY HERE AGAIN IF WE EVER RETURN TO OAHU! SUE & RICH, PA
We enjoyed out stay at the Plumeria Studio and fell in love with the town of Kaileua. We have two suggestions: First, the matress and pillows should be replaced...they are well worn and are unforgiving to sore backs. The second suggestion is that the sliding glass door leading into the studio does not lock therefore we carried our valuables or locked them in the car despite the owners reassurance that no one can gain entrance to the back yard. The studio was very clean, the pool was refreshing and the owner is very, very nice. Thank you.

We had a very pleasant stay here. This is located just a couple of blocks from an area in Kailua where we have enjoyed boogie boarding in the past, on a great beach. Very nice folks and a bunny named Newbie that loves to get petted. We believe that we saw someplace that the swimming pool here said "salt water", but it is fresh water??
Lovely location just a block from the beach. Host is really accomodating and very nice. Facilities are really good, clean and ample. Great swimming pool. Quiet and peaceful. One caveat: Bed is very squeaky and needs updating.

A very nice place to stay. A good value for the money paid. Very clean and well equiped with everything we needed. The beach is a very close walk and it is beautiful. A great alternative to Waikiki.
Generaly good.This accomodation was not cheap and a good standard was to be expected. We stayed 10 nights and the sheets were not changed. In a warm climit and cost for this room I would have expected this. Regards

We had a lovely time at Plumeria Studio. The location was great and it was located within walking distance to where our relatives were staying. The pool was refreshing after a hot, fun day in the sun and the beach. We enjoyed the peaceful room, porch, and pool. We would love to come back to visit. Thanks for everything! The studio is delightful- very clean and very close to the beach. Having a pool in the back yard was also great. The manager is also very acommodating- offering assistance and suggestions if needed.
We had a very nice stay in the Plumeria Studio, the bed was comfortable, the pool right outside the door and it was quiet and relaxing! It was great that it had air conditioning, although the air conditioner is right over the head of the bed. I especially enjoyed the company of the owners pet bunny in the back yard.
Plumeria Studio was a fantastic place to stay to experience Kailua and the surrounding area. The studio was spacious, the host is gracious and not obtrusive, and the beach is a short walk away. We would choose to stay here again - it is relaxing, peaceful, and quickly feels like home away from home.

Audry is a wonderful host, providing us with great information on the local area, and is just a really nice person. Plumeria is a cute studio, just the right size for us, and just the right amenities as well. The pool is so wonderful - just the right temperature. The beach is a super easy walk from the studio - you get to avoid the parking hassles. This is such a great place, it was our second visit! And there will likely be more.
Everything was there that I could have needed, in a tasteful, quiet environment. The owners are friendly and considerate, and the location was perfect. Very, very enjoyable, and I hope to rent Plumeria in the future. Also, the electronic paperwork was easy, clear, and promptly sent, with all the necessary info. Great!
The room was comfortable and clean - and very quiet! The back yard and pool are outstanding. Being a block from the beach didn't hurt either. Had a great time.

I enjoyed the stay very much. The studio is beautifully furnished. The pool is awesome. The only downside, yet rather minimal, is the weather on the windy side of Oahu, which tends to be somewhat rainy at times. It does, however, allow for a great beach day. The beach, by the way, is awesome and ideal for wind- and kitesurfing.
We truly enjoyed our stay in the Plumeria Studio. The studio was very clean and had lots of personality. We also had fun lounging around the pool. It was so much better than staying in a hotel!

This is a wonderful little self contained suite in the back of a house of very kind and hospitable owners. The unit is brand new, nicely decorated and has a charming feel. It is only two short 1/2 blocks from the Kailua beach (not the over 3 blocks as listed) - a great location. It has a great pool as well. We will definately be back!
The Plumeria Studio was wonderful! It was very private and allowed us to see how it feels to live in Hawaii. The pool was great and the landscaping was beautiful. The beach is a very short walk from the unit and it is beautiful as well. Not crowded like alot of beaches. We would stay here again without a doubt!!

This is a brand new unit, sparkling clean, with a beautiful pool five feet from the entrance! We had a wonderful time here.. Audry and Gale were so welcoming and friendly, we felt like we were staying with family.

Our stay in the plumeria studio was exactly what we were looking for, close to the beach and a great place to just hang out outside to enjoy the warm tropical breezes with a glass of wine. We highly recommend this place.
We loved the space and the location was convinient. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. The pool was awesome! The only downfall was the kitchen. We would have liked a more functional kitchen since we were there for a longer amount of time. All in all it was very good.
It truly was a paradise getaway, perfect for our needs!
