 we have been home from our visit to hawaii for about one week & we have some very clear & sweet memories of our stay at two duck inn. a high point of our visit was the affability of our "landlord & landlady", marty and gay. they were extremely pleasant. we looked forward to our morning coffee at the pool. it was so quiet and beautiful there. we loved just listening to the birds & gazing at the pristine garden. the "floating chairs" in the pool were an added bonus . . . so relaxing. it was great to be able to walk to the quiet, white-sand beach that was only two blocks away. we gave this rental 4 stars mainly because of marty & gay, the pool area, the beach equipment available, & a comfortable bed. our only negative report of this unit was THE DECREPIT WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER. even in april this studio apartment was 90 degrees inside. we sincerely hope they replace it with a larger unit before our next visit. We had a great time at the Two Duck Inn: nice and clean, cheerful, little personal touches like you would find in your own home. Great location. Best restaurant: Lucy's. |
