Kuilima Estates 48W

The place was perfect for 2 people, very quiet, loved sleeping with the doors open (screens closed) at night and listening to the trees, the rain and the ocean. Plenty of towels. Location was perfect. It was very safe. The ice cube trays leak and are creating a little sheet of ice in the freezer - just a heads up to the owners/property managers. We will stay again.

Paige C., San Diego, CA, 1.27.12

Kuilima Estates 56 East

My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be to realize that this is not a hotel room and therefore you need to supply your own shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and toilet paper. If your not expecting these things to be supplied then you won't be disappointed when you arrive like we were. Otherwise the location is excellent, the swimming pool is nice, and it's nice to have a kitchen. Once we got over the fact that the items listed above were our responsibility we really enjoyed staying here.

LaMar H., Washington, UT, 12.7.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

It was very clean and has been taken care of. It is in a great location on the north shore and at Turtle Bay. We received great service as we arrived and lights were on and apprecited the kindness of those we spoke with. The owners of the condo downstairs were gracious and were very helpful. The condo was the right size for us. It had everything that you would want - location and was on the north shore. The bed was very comfortable. The ceiling was too low and and had to bend over to walk around. The bed did make up any disadvantage of the low ceiling. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a comfortable and affordable quality place to stay.

Bob B., West bountiful, UT, 12.5.11

Kuilima Estates 56 East

We would highly recommend this rental to our friends who want to bring their children along. The location and ammenities were excellent and the pools very, very nice.

Axel and Annie F., Lummi Island, WA, 11.18.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

We did like the unit, and our stay, but didn't fully understand why we HAD to do the dishwasher and start the cleaning of the towels, if we also have a cleaning FEE that we paid when we booked our stay.

Tina B., Ewa Beach, HI, 11.16.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

This unit is located in a beautiful landscape witgh lush vegetation and flowers. The night is quiet and only interrupted by the clear sky, the stars and the sound of the ocean. The customer service for rental and settling in to this unit was great. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Turtle Bay...Wew have stayed in Wakakii a number of times, but prefer the North Shore area better.

Harry Y., Lebanon, TN, 10.16.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

I liked the location it was easy to drive to all the places around the north shore. The best part of our trip was snorkeling at Shark's cove. The best restaurant we found close to the condo was Leonardo's at the Turtle Bay Resort.

Deanna S., Minneapolis, MN, 8.31.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

We liked the location on the #1 fairway of the Fazio course, and short walk to Lei Lei's. Turtle Bay Resort area is very nice and you can use all of their facilities except their pool. Golf is one of the main reasons we stay in this area, and you get resort pricing when staying in the condos. Allthough the weather was not the greatest this time, it certainly lead us to alot of naps and island travel we would not have normally done. Many good restaurants in the area. Our favorites were Lei Lei's at the golf course. Ian and staff are very welcoming and the food is special. Also, a favorite is Jameson's by the Sea in Haleiwa. Start at the bar with Matt (Bartender) and finish with dinner outside on the rail watching the sunset. Many other decent places to eat at all $ levels, but these were our favorites. The Hang Ten bar at the resort pool is great for sunsets and drinks. The unit is small and we suggest to limit it to two adults if possible. Bedroom is in a loft and ceiling is a bit low. Took some getting used to. This unit absolutely filled our needs and expectations. Any complaints we would have would just be petty and not worth mentioning. Best tip: Golf price in the mornings for the two courses are Fazio = $70 and Palmer = $140. Play the Fazio for $70 and then pay the $35 (not posted) for replay on Palmer. That's right folks, two courses, 36 holes, for $105. We enjoyed ourselves for two weeks. Allthough we normally stay in the resort, this experience has got us thinking of a better way to go. Would do this again, but in a larger unit next year. Jeri and Marc were super nice. Bill & Dani

Kuilima Estates 56 East

I would like to thank Rebecca Berkowitz. When I made the reservation I missed the deadline for signing the contract due to a family emergency. Rebecca was very understanding. Rebecca's first concern was for me to take care of the emergency and then reassured me she would renew the contract. Im so glad she worked with me because the unit was wonderful, clean, easy to access, fully equipped with everything and location was perfect for us. My husband and I took morning walks down by the beach, around the golf course and enjoyed the smell of the ocean and breeze. Some of the places close by that we ate at were Papa Ole's in Hauula, their garlic chicken. Kahuku Grill, their 'twice the size' hamburgar. The Garlic Shrimp at Ted's Bakery in Sunset was yummers and came with a free slice of pie. A little further away in Haleiwa was a Thai restaurant called Haleiwa Eats with an assortment of dishes. My advice for anyone staying at not just the unit, but on the Island is get good conditioner for your hair and mosquito repellent. I look forward to a return visit soon.

Aniva R., North Las Vegas, Nevada, 4.16.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

Nice unit and a beautiful location. Enjoyed the beach & nearby North Shore amenities. Very little in the way of customer service....perhaps a binder with more information or a phone call would be helpful. Loved the surf pictures. The middle of the night trips to the bathroom from the loft might be a bit much for older couples or those with disabilities.

Dennis B., Eugene, OR, 2.14.11

Kuilima Estates 48W

Had a great stay - quiet and scenic - excellent waves too!!

Gary W., Huntington Beach, Ca, 1.11.11

Kuilima Estates 56 East

I loved the loft and the customer service I received was excellent. As I was thinking over my decision to rent the property I had missed my contract deadline. Even though I missed my contract deadline, Mark personally called to discuss my reservation before renting to someone else. Most rental agencys would move along to the next renter. The best part of my trip was staying on the north shore, the condo was in an excellent location for Hawaii. It provides a truely 'hawaiian' experience.

Hilary Y., Douglas, AK, 12.17.10

Madeline F., Honolulu, Hi, 10.20.10

Kuilima Estates 48W

Everything worked out very smooth, from scheduling the unit to the time I left. The unit was very clean and stocked with the essentials. The grounds were beautiful and much improved from the last time I stayed. I will continue to stay at this proerty in the future!

Scott H., St. George, Utah, 9.30.10

Kuilima Estates 56 East

Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the condo complex. Used the pool several days, and we were the only ones in it! Made it feel like our very own private paradise. The condo was spacious, the kitchen well equipped. Great tradewinds flowed through the units two large sliding lanai doors. The area is remote so was a drive to restaurants and stores--but worth the beautiful drive. Had a great birthday dinner at Haleiwa Joe's, good food and good service. Also liked the Coffee Gallery, great coffe and wonderful desserts. Both agents we spoke with were friendly and very helpful.

Juanita R., Wooster, OH, 6.1.10

Kuilima Estates 48W

The grounds of the estate were immaculate. The staff did an wonderful job of keeping everything neat and clean. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of our schedule we arrived well after midnight. The gentleman that came out to meet us was very nice, especially since we had to call him to the gate at such a late hour. Our condo was very clean when we arrived. It is such a relief after a long trip (4000+ miles all the way from Michigan) to find such a nice home away from home. We enjoyed every day of the 2 weeks we spent there. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

Paul T., South Branch, Mi, 4.2.10

Kuilima Estates 56 East

The unit was clean and only a couple of bugs...normal in the tropics. Quiet, clean, nice pool and good beaches in walking distance. Saw many turtles and humpbacks. Nice to have this unit to cook in to save money on meals. We will make this trip again!

Deborah M., KIRKLAND, WA, 3.10.10

Kuilima Estates 56 East

Great accommodations, close to beaches and the best is the quiet county of North Shore Oahu!!! Loved the shrimp farms and local fruit stands.

Raylene B., San Carlos, CA, 2.27.10

Nice. Queit. Everything in working order. Happy with the internet connection!

Dave R., Lenexa, Kansas, 11.20.09

Kuilima Estates 48W

The unit was well kept clean, and some gears for the beaches was really nice. Also there was a lot of beautiful pictures on the wall, and I was interested in how to shoot them.

Takashi M., Machida, Tokyo, 10.6.09

Kuilima Estates 48W

we liked kuilima estates because of the convenience of being able to cook, make coffee, wash our clothes, nice warm showers, and how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. we liked the convenience of the beach being so close by and the upkeep of the property was very nice. we would stay there again. mr. and mrs. arthur flohr

Art F., North LasVegas, Nevada, 6.18.09

Kuilima Estates 48W

We had a terrific two-week holiday on Oahu. The Kuilima Estates was very nice. The pool was nice and close. The customer service from Hawaaiian Beach Rentals was excellent. We used to live on Oahu, and couldn't imagine spending a vacation on Oahu in a tiny hotel room in Waikiki. So, the unit we rented was very nice. It was great to be able to explore the North Shore, although the frequent drives we took to visit the south shore and Honolulu attractions became a little long. The unit was nicely decorated. We loved the many surfing pictures on the wall. The bed was comfortable.

Michael B., Salt Lake City, UT, 1.9.09

Kuilima Estates 56 East

The unit was very clean and roomy. It was light and airy and private. The managers of the unit were very friendly and accomodating. They gave us tips on places to go snorkeling...Three Tables and Sharks Cove were the best. We also enjoyed the show at the Polynesian Cultural Center. If you are debating whether to go or not, I would say GO! It was great! Don't wait to start doing things. We thought Teds bakery was good for lunch. Turtle Bay buffet for breakfast, and Turtle Bay on Saturday night for prime rib and crab. Nice beaches, no crowds, great sunsets everywhere. We loved watching the surfers. The glider airplane ride was exciting with very nice people. All of us recommend staying at the North Shore end of the island. It was good for all ages. I would specificly recommend Kuilima Estates 56 East. Reasonable price for great quality.

Charlotte A., Trinity Center, California, 9.28.08

Kuilima Estates 48W

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The kitchen allowed us to cook, the living room had a beautiful view, and the loft was great. It is on the North Shore, where it was slow and quiet. Thanks

Mikhail O., Santa Clara, CA, 8.20.08

Kuilima Estates 56 East

We really enjoyed our time on the North Shore at the Kuilima Estates 56 East. This unit is just what we expected. The best part of my trip was watching the surfers at Sunset Beach and the Pipeline. The best restaurant we dined at was Haleiwa Joe's. The location of these condo's could not have been better. I will definitely stay at Kuilima Estates when I return to the North Shore of Hawaii. Mohalo!

Kulima Estates 48W was great for two people. Very clean and efficient. I would definitely stay here again. Hawaii is the best vacation place in the world!

Keith I., Greenwood, IN, 2.4.08

Kuilima Estates 56 East

What I liked best about the unit was it didn't feel like we were staying at a hotel, I was very much at home because of the nicely decorated and warm feeling our place presented. I am a private person and I enjoyed the non-hassle of checking in and walking directly to our place. The best part of my trip was opening an oyster at the polynesian cultural center for a pink pearl. The best restaurant was quite a drive, it takes an hour to get to waikiki, but it was more than worth it. We reserved a table at the oceanarium at the Pacific beach hotel right next to the aquarium. The food was a buffet with prime rib and king crab all you can eat. We paid about 25 dollars more at a separate restaraunt for just two entrees, this was much better. I can't wait to tell my friends about the helicopter ride we took at the Turtle Bay resort two minutes away from the condo's. My trip was during Januray and I would reccomend going during the summer months, it rained the entire time we were there, however we wanted to go whale watching and they're only available during the winter months. The weather is still good, but don't look forward to a tan!

Jeff A., Murray, Utah, 1.25.08

What I liked best about the unit I rented was location. It was close to many beaches for beautiful sunsets. It was easty to visit all the areas of Oahu, yet return to a quiet condo located on the beautiful golf course of Turtle Bay. Walking distance to the Turtle Bay resort with many fine restaurants, bargs, and ocean views.

* Mark & Jeri were very cool folks...they were very helpful and answered all the crazy questions we asked them. * Customer Service we received pretty much everywhere on the island was fabulous! Everyone were all very friendly. * The best part of my(our) trip was enjoying the beautiful beaches, basking in the sun and relaxing. * The best restaurant - well it was Giovanni's Shrimp Truck by far! The Shrimp Scampi is to die for!!! * The best picture I took of me (us) pretty much everywhere - there are so many beautiful spots to take the perfect photo. * I can't wait to tell all my friends that....we'll be back again in the next year or two! * The advice to someone else staying at this unit would be that you can relax and not stress about other guests bothering you or whatever - you have a lot of privacy. * The best "insider tip" I received while on my trip was where to go, what time to go and not go. * I didn't have time this trip, but next trip to Hawaii I'm looking forward to...hiking Diamond Head, Parasailing, Canoeing, Kayaking and so much more. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Gerbielyn & Miguel Prieto

The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My husband and I were thrilled to stay at Kuilima Estates 56 and will definitely be back. The unit has everything you could want, including a nice parking space and friendly neighbors. Within walking distance of the Turtle Bay resort which gives you access to fine dining, golfing, and the beach.

Elke H., Two Rivers, WI, 8.26.07

This unit was very nice. It was clean and tastefully decorated. It was well situated to take advantage of cool breezes. Mark was very responsive to our needs and quick to follow up on requests we made. We very much enjoyed Kuilima Estates. It was the perfect setting for our family reunion, allowing various groups privacy and yet closeness. Thanks to Jeri for all she did in helping us put this together. We would definitely consider staying here again on a return trip.

Sherrill W., Bakersfield, CA, 8.4.07

Kuilima Estates 48W

We were very impressed with the condo in general ( location, security, comfort and the response from your staff). We went to pick up our son that graduated from BYU Hawaii so it was very convenient to go to campus and to go to the beaches on the North shore. We enjoyed the restaurants on Turtle Bay, mainly the Sunday buffet. We also tried the Acai bowl right across the street from Foodland. We went to Haleiwa to eat and to go on a deep sea fishing. My husband and son caught two Wahoos. We already referred the Kuilima Estates to our friends that are going to Laie in October. Thank you very much for everything and we hope to go back in a near future. Ester Golladay

Kuilima Estates 48W

We had a truely great week. If you really want to enjoy Oahu, this is the only place to stay. The North Shore is where everyone wants to go, but if you stay in Waikiki, you have to drive for an hour or more to get here. We had breakfast at Ted's bakery hours of snorkeling in at Shark's Cove, Waimea Bay and Three Tables before the city crowd arrived. Clean secure unit on the grounds of the Turtle Bay Hilton. We will stay there again.
