We were very disappointed in the condo. It was in a run down condition with the screen door falling off, closet doors coming off the hinges, and expired food in the fridge. Many of the supplies promised had run out such as toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. The unit claims to sleep up to four people, but is really made for only two.

What I liked best about the unit I rented was location. It was close to many beaches for beautiful sunsets. It was easty to visit all the areas of Oahu, yet return to a quiet condo located on the beautiful golf course of Turtle Bay. Walking distance to the Turtle Bay resort with many fine restaurants, bargs, and ocean views.

Aloha! We loved our stay at Kuilima estates and the North Shore!! we went there to relax and we did. Turtle Bay resort is really nice too and we have access to all there installations except the pool! My advise is bring toilette paper...(we ran out of it and there was no extra), also if you need 2 beds, mention it, we were surprise to find only one the first night. Customer service is excellent! Next time I go there...I want to surf!! Mahalo

* Mark & Jeri were very cool folks...they were very helpful and answered all the crazy questions we asked them. * Customer Service we received pretty much everywhere on the island was fabulous! Everyone were all very friendly. * The best part of my(our) trip was enjoying the beautiful beaches, basking in the sun and relaxing. * The best restaurant - well it was Giovanni's Shrimp Truck by far! The Shrimp Scampi is to die for!!! * The best picture I took of me (us) pretty much everywhere - there are so many beautiful spots to take the perfect photo. * I can't wait to tell all my friends that....we'll be back again in the next year or two! * The advice to someone else staying at this unit would be that you can relax and not stress about other guests bothering you or whatever - you have a lot of privacy. * The best "insider tip" I received while on my trip was where to go, what time to go and not go. * I didn't have time this trip, but next trip to Hawaii I'm looking forward to...hiking Diamond Head, Parasailing, Canoeing, Kayaking and so much more. The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My husband and I were thrilled to stay at Kuilima Estates 56 and will definitely be back. The unit has everything you could want, including a nice parking space and friendly neighbors. Within walking distance of the Turtle Bay resort which gives you access to fine dining, golfing, and the beach.

Nice unit with lots of room for us and the kids, and overall no real complaints. A few comments or suggestions:

1. Pools in condo's are not very good
2. Can not use much of the resort things and this should be made more clear (chairs at beach, parking cost extra, and can not use the pool)
3. There was some work being done before 6am with "beeping" from equipment. Might have been from golf course or something, but thought you should know.

Unit 157W is located in a beautiful setting. It's screened-in back porch opens to a golf course. The grounds were well maintained. The unit was clean except for a couple of black spots on the carpet in the lower bedroom. The customer service (the rental process, check-in/check-out, response to requested information prior to usage) was quite satisfactory. The wait up to 60 days for the refund of the security deposit seems a bit unreasonable, especially due to the fact that payment for the unit had to made so far in advance of our usage. rnThe best part of our trip was the scenic beauty of Oahu. The flowers and flowering shrubs were gorgeous. We were celebrating an 80th birthday and a 60th wedding anniversary which included 14 family members in three other units. We took an evening dinner/cruise which was quite enjoyable, as was the Dole Plantation tour, snorkeling, the Polyensian Cultural Center, and a re-visit to Schofield Barracks. rnrnWe visited several restaurants, but the one that our entire group liked the best was Turtle Bay Resort Ola's. rnrnWe had a professional photographer, a local resident, take a number of pictures of our family near Turtle Bay Resort with the beautiful blue Pacific in the background. All of us, of course, had our own camera and we are making a disk of each of the pictures from our cameras, which we will distribute to each family. rnrnI can't wait to tell my friends that given the opportunity, they should go to Hawaii. We definitely recommend the North Shore of Oahu. The Windword side of the Island is the most colorful, much less congested than the Honolulu area. rnrnGetting acquainted to other condo residents provided useful information to us--such a good place to snorkel, or the must-see beach, restaurants, etc. We hope we can return again some day. rnrn

This unit was very nice. It was clean and tastefully decorated. It was well situated to take advantage of cool breezes. Mark was very responsive to our needs and quick to follow up on requests we made. We very much enjoyed Kuilima Estates. It was the perfect setting for our family reunion, allowing various groups privacy and yet closeness. Thanks to Jeri for all she did in helping us put this together. We would definitely consider staying here again on a return trip.
