An ideal vacation home for the group looking to enjoy Hawaii as its meant to be. By the Sea is steps from the vanilla powder sands of Lanikai Beach and a short drive from all the major attractions Oahu has to offer. Located in arguably the most exclusive neighborhood on Oahu, come here to relax and recharge. Enjoy Ocean views from the deck, living room and kitchen or take a dip into the pool surrounded by colorful plants and the sounds of native birds. The home consists of- Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining room, living room, access to the pool. Downstairs is the 3rd bedroom which is ideal for elderly guests as it is on the ground level of the home and has its own separate entrance opening out onto the patio and pool area. The downstairs unit also has it's own living room and large kitchenette. The home has 3 very comfortable queen beds, and 2 queen futons with spring supported cushions. In this current configuration the home can sleep up to 10 people. Keep in mind that this is a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home and the futons are in the living rooms. For the safety of younger children, a pool fence is available upon request. For outdoor activities we provide beach chairs, coolers, beach and recreation guides, oahu maps, and a thorough guide to restaurants in Kailua. Isn't it time you indulged?

Starting from $500.00 per night. 30% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 60 days before check-in $500.00 security deposit. 4% processing fee. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

Layout of the house accomodated our group very well. Pool and beach access was great. Lanikai access to Kailua area was very convenient. The upstairs bedroom and dining area got very hot and the front porch light did not work so it was always dark when we came home. Overall, everything else was great.

The house was great and the rooms were really seperate. You could hear everything that was going on throughout the house, but that was WAY offset by the fact that the house was perfect in every way. Close to the beach, nice pool area and many outside eating areas. Sandy was so plesant to work with. We also loved the fact that it wasn't touristy at all. Far from all the hub-ub of the big hotels, but still convient enough to get to when needed.

House had ample room for our family which was great and the location was a short block from the beach. The property manager and owner were great about quickly resolving concerns. My family had a wonderful time and that is what mattered most. The best part of the trip was swimming with the dolphins at Sea Life Park, definitely worth the money. Best new spot we learned about is Chip and Cookie in Kailua.
