Lanikai Loft was very good location near to beach though the nearest beach walking to has a little less space of the beach when high tide but also very quiet and we really enjoyed nice ocean view and muntain view from terrace. I liked the house was clean, too. I really would like to say thank you to the honer families' warm hospitality.

The Lanikai Beach, which is one of the most scenic beaches in the U. S. is just a five minute walk. The Mokulua Islands are a short paddle (20 minutes) away. We have kayaks on site for rent and bicycles are also available. We also have a guide onsite who can give you a tour of the islands. The ridge hike (also 20 minutes) gives you a great view of the entire area from Lanikai to Kailua to the Mokulua's
The Loft design is very open and has lots of windows. There is a view from almost any window and very good cross ventilation. There are three sliding doors onto the lanais. Two lanais are available for lounging and eating. The bathroom is large with a soaking bathtub. The bedroom is roomy and can be private from the rest of the unit. The loft is sitting above and off to the side of the house and is entirely private with an entrance under the carport. The property has a photovoltaic system which captures the sunlight to provide electricity for the entire facility, therefore there is no carbon footprint. The flooring is bamboo and has area carpets as coverings. The bed is a Cal King with memory foam mattress. The couch in the living room folds out into a queen bed. This unit has been totally refurnished and everything is new as of 5/1/11. The laundry area is downstairs and contains most of the beach necessities - umbrella, chairs, coolers, snorkels etc. We have reserved off street parking for one car.
I have a one bedroom separate building located on the backside of the property. It i very private and has a yard. If you book both properties you could accommodate two parties with a total of 6 people. .

Starting from $225.00 per night. 30% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 60 days before check-in. $200.00 security deposit. $125.00 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.
