Description
This spacious Lanikai studio apartment is situated within a mountain-side home far from the crowds of Waikiki. The sounds of the ocean and tropical birds are ever-present. The fresh island decor of the apartment is perfectly complemented by the cool tiles that run throughout the unit. Down at the beach, spectacular sunrises await you every morning and equally beautiful moon rises in the evening. The much photographed Mokulua Islands lie just beyond the protective reef that make Lanikai Beach perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. When you return from the beach, walk right into the spa shower with its own separate entrance, and then into fresh clothes. It is a 200 yard walk to the ocean where you can walk right into the water, and a 400 yard walk to the main beach.

Great experience, easily arranged and wonderful location. The place was as described and pictured and just a true pleasure to stay at. Could not have asked for a better experience (short of someone clearing out the clouds). Will definitely look into it again on return trips to Oahu.

We felt the place was comfortable and clean, a beautifully remodeled studio.

The location in Lanikai was very nice. It was nice to get up in the morning and take a jog around the neighborhood and see all the other runners and walkers. The hill behind the house was a fun hike too. We really enjoyed the soft sands and swimming in the warm waters of the beaches at Lanikai and Kailua. Next time we would like to kayak to the "Moke's" and do some snorkeling there. Haunamau bay was packed on Monday (holiday) and closed on Tuesday, so we missed our chance. Maybe next time. We had a great time watching the playoff games at the "Shack". We also enjoyed driving up the North coast and watching the surfing competition. The Breakfast at the Big City Diner was pretty tasty too! The owners paid attention to the details,like plenty of towels and TP. The flowers on the bathroon sink were a nice touch too. We would rent here again...

"The bookshelves had lots of interesting things to read, and included several dictionaries and a world atlas as well as little books describing local birds, flowers, and trees. We appreciated having nice dishes and mugs and flatware to use. It was great to have a washer-dryer in the apartment, with soap provided. Lovely artwork on the walls and shelves. The whole place was extremely clean and we didn't see a single cockroach. The hillside location with its lovely view was excellent; the sun came in through the windows in the early morning, but for the rest of the day there was no direct sun inside, so with the ceiling fans it was always a nice temperature. We had a great time."
