Embrace aloha charm as you settle into this Hawaiian vacation home. We are located across the street from the beach, and near the end of the Lanikai loop. The home is open, bright and spacious. The back side of the house has a large deck with a barbecue on the deck and lanai table with umbrella and chairs. Both the yard and house are very child friendly. This is a wonderful retreat after a long day on the beach. The back yard is a fully developed garden with mature fruit trees and many colorful tropical plants. The front porch is covered, and also has a seating area for relaxing and people watching as they run or ride the loop. Another deck leads off the master bedroom.
There is a private outside shower to clean off after the beach, and a fully equipped laundry room complete with beach chairs, coolers, snorkels, etc. Two kayaks and two bicycles are provided for a minimal fee. |

Our unit was spacious and clean. We were minutes from the beaches at Lanakai and Kailua, and not far from daily shopping needs. The outdoor shower is a nice touch for a rinse off after spending a day at the beaches.
I recommend Hawaii at Christmas for families - even without snow...its a great place to relax and unwind.
Now for a few improvements - while not an absolute necessity, a phone in the unit would be nice. Parking is a challenge at this place for bigger vehicles as both units share two small parking spots.
Pots and pans could be replaced - but not a huge issues as there are restaurants close by.
I think we will be back next year.
