 Lanikai Tradewinds was a great house to rent for a family. The location is fantastic -- two blocks from one of the nicest beaches I have ever seen, with kayaking opportunities to the offshore islands. The town of Kailua is only a mile away -- just close enough to be convenient, and far enough that we felt like we were in an exotic locale. The owner is on the property and is incredibly helpful and friendly. The house itself is very nice (not super fancy, but that's what we like best) and has AC in the two main bedrooms. In the small bedroom off the main bedroom, there is a fan that we used for the kids (twin two year olds). Nice garden to sit in and for kids to play in, as well as front porch and front yard. Again, GREAT location. We are heading back next year! Lanikai is the most beautiful place in the world! I loved it that we (6 of us) could celebrate mom's 70th birthday all together in a comfortable and relaxed place. I loved my stay at Lanikai Tradewinds. The unit housed 5 comfortably and was conveniently located to the nicest part of Lanikai Beach. Probably the nicest view of the Mokulua Islands. Everything we needed from BBQ, to Coolers, to Boogeyboards, to Beach Towels, were included. Beautifully landscaped. For the price, it was a great value. Friends stayed in more modern, "nicer" homes, but I guarantee they didn't have as much fun as we did. This was the fun rental. I will probably try to go back in the future! Best vacation ever!!! |
