We enjoyed the lovely house very much! As a cook, I appreciated the well stocked kitchen with all the spices to choose from, the pots, pans, whisks, and ice cream maker. I could go on and on in its praise!
My mother-in-law fell in love with the lush, tropical front and back gardens and we had a great time grilling meals on the beautiful back deck.
The only drawback we heard from the family was the lack of closet and drawer space for clothing.
Thank you for the comfortable space and the cats just added to the charm, especially Socks!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful our vacation in Ocean Treehouse was! It was simply an exceptional property, beautifully equiped in every way. From the kitchen equiped for a gourmet, to the tasteful furnishings and homey touches, to the view of the ocean from the huge lanaii, I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to spend a vacation. I can't wait to return.
The Ocean Treehouse was wonderful, the pictures on the internet are very accurate but the house and view are even more impressive when you are actually there. The beaches in Kailua are everything everyone says, the overall experience was great. The easy going lifestyle with close proxmity to the store for food and the full kitchen in the house made this a fantastic experience.
We were amazed that we had "stumbled" by internet onto such a wonderful place to spend our time in Hawaii. It was like borrowing someones lovely home as opposed to feeling like a"rental". The kitchen was better epuipped than my own and the house had all the conveniences we could possibly need. The area was beautiful and Lanikai beech was indeed a short walk away. I was worried about having no AC, but the tradewinds were constant and cooling so we were quite comfortable. The pictures on the net don't do this place justice... it's even better than it looks. Be sure to enjoy every minute of relaxation on the lovely deck enjoying the breezes and the beautiful tropical surroundings. I would recommend this place to everyone.
the setting of Ocean Treehouse is exceptional. the view to the Mokes, the abundant trees and flowers. The home is in great shape. Love the deck, the kitchen, the master suite, the open design. We did the pill box hike again which is so worthwhile. Great views of course. I like to shop in Kailua...Macys, Under a hula moon, etc. I also discovered this time Elwin's Bakery and the toy store next door, across from Macy's. We always hit Island Snow and the plate lunch place. Oiwi is great for "rash guards". In town we love Leonard's for Malasada's and we think Costco in Hawaii Kai is always good to go to. Can't wait to be back.
It was our home away from home! Very lovely and nicely decorated house, clean, with plenty of room for the kids.
Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Ocean Treehouse. The view and proximity to the beach made it one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Lanikai is a quiet upper end residential beach community, with all the ammenities just a 5 minute drive in Kailua. The short drive into Wakiki (about 30 minutes taking the Pali Highway) gave us the best of both worlds - relaxation, shopping, entertainment and fun. The home is in great condition and had every convenience a family of six needed to make it a confortable stay. I highly recommend the Ocean Treehouse to a family with kids or a even to a couple who would like a relaxing holiday.

All. the amenities of home. Beautiful beach close by. Wonderful atmosphere for any and all outdoor activities. Must take a night time stroll on the beach.
This house was magnificent! We enjoyed it very much, and the area. The house is set up sdo nice that for a family, it is ideal. We would go back in a heart beat.
The Ocean Treehouse was the perfect hideaway for our family during our recent visit to Oahu. On the spur of the moment, we decided to grab our parents and get hitched on Lanikai Beach. The house was a perfect place to stay! Every day we woke up early to the sound of birds and the ocean waves, we'd cook breakfast and then walk 5 minutes over to Lanikai Beach for a morning swim, come back to relax and lunch and then head out for the day. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots/pans, and the grill on the deck was fantastic, so cooking was a breeze. On certain mornings, we'd decide to walk over to MidPac golf course to hike up the hill for the lookout of the beach and beautiful hillside. Everything is so accessible from the Ocean Treehouse!! The house doesn't have AC, but the fans and natural ventilation was good. Cleanliness is also fantastic. And the best part was having the cats to play with; they were like part of the family. All in all, we felt like we were staying over at a friend's house, which was so much better than a hotel. Lastly, you can't beat the location of the Ocean Treehouse, as you're 5-10 minutes from the ocean and hiking trails, and don't have to deal with the pass through public traffic like the houses on the beachfront have to deal with! We will return and thank the owners for sharing their home with us.

The house is wonderful, the view is incredible, great place for adults who want to just kick back and enjoy the beauty of it all. We did expect a hot tub but instead found a bath tub with a jacuzzi.
The Ocean Treehouse was the perfect place to stay. The house is gorgeous and had everything we needed. I would most would highly recommend it to anyone attending in the future and intend to return myself. 5 stars out of 5.
Our family had a wonderful time at the Ocean Treehouse! We cannot speak highly enough for the idyllic character of Lanikai, tropical foliage waving in the breeze with a great view of of the ocean and offshore islands, exactly what Hawaii should be.
