A lovely home in a beautiful setting. We loved watching the sea turtles in the water just off shore. The home is comfortable, accommodating and charming. The beach has beautiful soft sand and is never crowded. We'd definitely stay here again.
We loved the house, especially having the pool. Being so close to the ocean and the beautiful Lanakai beach, coupled with the privacy of the swimming pool made for a very relaxing, enjoyable vacation.
Hillside Hideaway in Lanikai was a great place to stay. The views were incredible! The unit was clean and cozy with great kitchen facilities. There were also plenty of beach towels and maps and Island magazines of all the places to see and do. A great place to stay!

The house is clean and comfortable, has everything you need, and the view is absolutely incredible. The nearby Lanikai and Kailua beaches were wonderful. My husband, two teenage sons, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"By the Sea Home" was a wonderful place to stay. We felt so comfortable and at home there. It was very nice to have things provided for kids to use and play with in the pool. A truly GREAT experience!

Our stay at the MoanaLani was wonderful! The house had more than enough room to accomodate our group. We liked that beach towels were provided and that there are two refrigerators for food and drinks. Since we have discovered Moana Lani in the last year, many of our friends have inquired and some have even rented the Beach house! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories! Beautiful home, well equipped and VERY organized. Master bath needs toilet replaced as it needed to be repaired twice. Also shower head supplies an inadequate water flow.
The week's experience was terrific. I especially liked the efficiency of hawaiianbeachrentals site and renting process.
The house was really nice, however most of the towels had stains in them.
This is just the type house that brought out the best of all of our family. We had such a good time because the house was so livable and had room for everyone. The location was perfect - close to activities, and yet, away from crowds. We loved it!!! Thanks so much.

We spent a delightful month in the bungalow. It is modest, peaceful, and fun. There is plenty to do around Kailua, and Honolulu is just 20 minutes away.

Very quiet and peacefull. The unit had all the comforts of home. The inside washer and dryer came in handy and knowing this meant we did not have to pack so much stuff.! Also, having your own private parking place was very convenient.

Great location. Lot's of things to do around the island for both adults and children. For a large family vacation, having six bedrooms was perfect. The pool is well maintained and we made use of it everyday. Beach was OK. Better beaches were a short car ride away. ("Manager Note: this home is situated on Lanikai beach which is consistently voted in the top 10 by Dr. Beach of Conde Naste Traveler magazine. It is to be noted that this home does not sandy beach front but instead has a sea wall with built in step for easy access to the water. Lanikai sandy beach is less than one block away.")
This was a great little get away and we really loved the birds! It was a beautiful setting. The owner really pays attention to the details. On our next visit, we'd try to stay at te Garden Lenai again.

We loved the By the Sea apartment! The accomodations, pool, and 2 minute walk to Lanikai made it very hard to leave! And, our 4 year old son became a beach bum! We couldn't get him out of the water.

The view was amazing of the Mokuluas! The house was comfortable and very well stocked. The outdoor beach gear, toys and ping pong table made fun in the sun very easy!

House was fine but seven striaight days of rain forced us out two days early, If I can get any credit, I will use it for the next rental, which I would like to line up now for next March. A house directly on the beach this time.

My husband, 2 sons, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters had a wonderful time here. The place was spacious, and allowed each of us privacy when we wanted it. We would have liked less rain so we could have enjoyed the patio more, but in spite of that we had a great vacation. We'd come back sometine.
The Garden Lanai was perfect for my husband and me. There was every possible ammenity. It is very cozy and you feel right at home. A great spot for 2 people.
The home by the sea is a very nice place to stay , close to the beach,lots of room, nicely furnished and nice pool in a beautiful back yard . We will come and stay again , 9 days went by to fast. JIm

The Ocean Treehouse was the perfect hideaway for our family during our recent visit to Oahu. On the spur of the moment, we decided to grab our parents and get hitched on Lanikai Beach. The house was a perfect place to stay! Every day we woke up early to the sound of birds and the ocean waves, we'd cook breakfast and then walk 5 minutes over to Lanikai Beach for a morning swim, come back to relax and lunch and then head out for the day. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots/pans, and the grill on the deck was fantastic, so cooking was a breeze. On certain mornings, we'd decide to walk over to MidPac golf course to hike up the hill for the lookout of the beach and beautiful hillside. Everything is so accessible from the Ocean Treehouse!! The house doesn't have AC, but the fans and natural ventilation was good. Cleanliness is also fantastic. And the best part was having the cats to play with; they were like part of the family. All in all, we felt like we were staying over at a friend's house, which was so much better than a hotel. Lastly, you can't beat the location of the Ocean Treehouse, as you're 5-10 minutes from the ocean and hiking trails, and don't have to deal with the pass through public traffic like the houses on the beachfront have to deal with! We will return and thank the owners for sharing their home with us. Yvette

The Garden Lanai was a great place to stay. Very cozy and comfortable... and private. It was a place we could call home. Very nice for walking, jogging, etc. A short walk to the beach and beautiful views of Kailua beach. We will stay there again.

this is a very nice accomodation. Very clean and well maintained. The host assures you are taken care of. Close to the beach, great, and not over crowded. Close to town for shopping and seeing other spots on the Island. We give this a high recommendation. Had a great time.

A very generous place.. well-maintained, with furnishings and equipment that made it seem more than a rental-- more like a complete home. The owners obviously love this place, and love sharing it with others. Convenient to the beach, close to Kailua, and very, very relaxing.
The house is wonderful, the view is incredible, great place for adults who want to just kick back and enjoy the beauty of it all. We did expect a hot tub but instead found a bath tub with a jacuzzi.
unable to put into words how nice the place is. location is great as well. if you like to cook bring a knife sharpener. and take the hike to the "pillbox".

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The unit was so nice. Being an Interior Designer myself, I really appreciated the little touches. It was so relaxing. We walked down to the beach and had a very peaceful stay. We would definately stay there again. Aloha, The Lords
BEAUTIFUL rental and private. Although you are attached to the owners unit you would never know it. It has a completely seperate entrance and driveway so you feel as if you are in your own home. The lanai is great for relaxing. FANTASTIC LOCATION! Unit has all accomodations you could ask for and more! We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again - no more hotels. The only reason for the 4 stars and not five was with 3 girls travelling - the bathroom was a bit small with only a pedastal sink - small, but very nice. Rental company was also fantastic in helping us with arrangements! Mahalo Nui Loa :-)

Very comfortable pillow-top queen bed and quiet location. The owners do have a baby who sleeps upstairs, but we could barely hear him and not at all during the night. We had a lovely stay, thank you!
The Garden Lanai has a beautiful kitchen with plenty of cooking/dining supplies, good washer and dryer, comfortable bed, soothing colors, quiet street close to beach, privacy- we were very much at home and would like to stay again in the future. Lanikai is the best location on the island!!
We really enjoyed By the Sea view. The lay out was perfect for our family/ lots of room to have your own space. I like being upstairs we could always see the trees,birds, moon and water and were away from the flies below. The beach is unbelievable. We will call and stay there again next time we are on Ohau. It is a nice cozy place, not really convenient to the beaches, it's a walk carrying beach supplies or a drive with difficult parking. The weather was great and walking to loop each day was enjoyable. A very dog friendly place.
This little house has a beautiful feel to it. After only a couple of days I was completely relaxed. Not a place to go if you are looking for anything other than quiet time.
We had a wonderful time at this rental, it was clean, well stocked in the kitchen, close to the most beautiful beach on the island, in our opinion. The pool was an added bonus, it provided a lot of fun for our 6 year old who was a little shy of the ocean. We saw the family of sea turtles at the local beach. It was very close to all the attractions while still feeling like you were in a small town. We plan on coming back soon!!!
HI, We had a nice time at your rental, however the guests up stairs we stomping around a lot... but the unit is nice. We have stayed at this unit before the new owners bought it. We hope to rent it our again some day !!! great location !!! Dan Christensen

We enjoyed the location of the house & the small beach next to it for street access. limited outdoor furniture, only 1 chaise, the kitchen was updated and very nice.
The Ocean Treehouse was the perfect place to stay. The house is gorgeous and had everything we needed. I would most would highly recommend it to anyone attending in the future and intend to return myself. 5 stars out of 5.
Beautifully furnished, spacious, very clean and generously equipped with everything that we needed for the stay and for the beach. Although not exactly on the beach, it is within easy walking distance (we could hear the gentle waves from the property). One of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to, certainly much nicer than Waikiki, and frequented by very friendly locals, therefore relatively empty on weekdays but not overcrowded on weekends either. Plenty of restaurants/shopping within 5 minutes drive.Would certainly stay again. Waking up to sounds of the birds singing and gentle waves, blending our own fruit juice in the well-equipped kitchen, strolling down to the beach, then back again for a BBQ in the enclosed garden area... magical!
We had an excellent stay in The Lanikai Bungalow. Everything we hoped for was there. We had a great, quiet and peaceful time in this lovely bungalow! Especially all the gear provided which was in excellent condition we really appreciated. When we come back to Oahu (and we will) we certainly will book this bungalow again!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Ocean Treehouse! We cannot speak highly enough for the idyllic character of Lanikai, tropical foliage waving in the breeze with a great view of of the ocean and offshore islands, exactly what Hawaii should be.
The most adorable place to stay that is fully stocked! A great walk to the beach from there too.
Wonderful house. Lots of space and outdoor living indoors. The whole house opens up. The beach and ocean are wonderful. Good house for large gatherings. It is well maintained and very comfortable. We miss it already.
I stayed at the Hale Onekea from 6 August to 9 August 2005. The hosts are delightful and the room has everthing you could possibly want. The location is excellent - while there is no view of the water, it is a 2 minute walk to Lanikai beach.
I would like to thank all of you for a great vacation that we had. The Hale Moonrise was an absolute beautiful place to spend our time. The morning sun rise was beautiful, as the evening breeze was very comforting. The sad part of such a great experience, was we had to return home. We all want to say thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful Island. We promise, we WILL return, as we didnt get to do all we wanted.We also hope we will be allowed to stay at Hale Moonrise again, as it made for many many great memorey"s.Again thanks for making a great vacation for all of us.So until we may meet again, Aloha Rick
