We loved the location being so close to Sunset Beach. The listing said about a 10 minute walk, but it was actually only about five minutes. Even on the weekend, the beach was not crowed and on some days we almost had it to ourselves. If you're looking for lots of nice restaurants, sightseeing, etc., this is not the place to rent. It's a great "get away" spot which is what we wanted. The neighbors were welcoming and we got to know the local dogs pretty well. The only draw back the was the house itself. I was not very clean and in need of some repairs. eg a couple of windows didn't work, dead flies on the window sills, dust balls on the floor and some very old food in the refrigerator. It also needs some more lights inside. It was almost impossible to read at night.

Where do I start? Everything from the house to Raynel our island contact was excellent. I am recommending this site to all my friends as an alternative to hotels. We did not want to leave. We just finished a wonderful stay at the Hale Plumeria. We practically had the beach all to ourselves during the week. We'd head down in the morning and be the only ones there. The weekends were definitely more crowded. We felt very welcomed by Raynel and right at home. There were neighbor dogs that came by to visit that helped us get through missing our own canine crew at home. They were very friendly and one of them seemed to smell each of our meals and timed her visits perfectly every time in order to get a tidbit! We ate most of our meals at the house. We headed to Costco as soon a we left the airport and that proved to be our best move of the trip. Saved us tons of money on eating out. We did head down the coast to Giovanni's Shrimp truck and it was the best meal of the trip, that and The Big City Grill in Honolulu....YUM!! The kids loved snorkeling all week. We rented from a shop right next door to the market across from the fire station. We had some equipment issues, but they were close and it was easy to get it fixed. The best part of our trip was to be able to relax. We didn't overplan our days, were often didn't have a plan. : ) When you stay here be prepared for long days on Sunset Beach and relaxing evenings on the lanai listening to the birds. It truly was paradise... I'm already looking forward to a return trip.

Being close to the beach was just great. The house was nicely furnished and decorated - lots of surfing pictures! Plenty to see and do on the North Shore - we loved it. Sunset Beach was just beautiful and quiet.

This house was so very clean, The customer service is top notch, We were here on vacation and to see family, The best restaurant on the North shore was Joe's at the marina in Haleiwa. My advice to any one staying in this rental would be that if your looking for the touristy side of Oahu you will have to drive a bit. This property is so secluded and quiet that you feel so relaxed that you almost can't function! I can't say enough about Raynel, If you need anything she is #1 Also don't miss out on an early morning stroll down the road to Ted's Bakery! The best pastries on the island !!!! and if you are a snorkeler like we are Sharks cove is just a little bit down the road and fantastic, my daughter loved Waimeia Bay also.

We thought the house was great. I was impressed with the quality of the furnishings and appliances. Everything was very nice. It was a little hard to find the first night when we got in after dark but then we appreciated the privacy of the quiet street. The neighbors treated us like, well, neighbors not tourists. We had a wonderful visit.

A Lovely house for a relaxed holiday. Management is extremely friendly. Accept for a lot of chickens in the neighborhood it is very quit and peaceful place. Lovely beach very close by. Inventory is more then complete although a dishwasher would be nice! We and the kids had a wonderful holiday.

An unpretentious home, but beautifully appointed and in a lovely private setting. Kitchen and enclosed lanai were quite large, which is not apparent in the photos. Manager was friendly and extremely helpful. Only minus was no dishwasher, but the view from the kitchen sink more than compensated. Would love to stay there again.

Beautiful Hawaiian style home. Everything was clean and nice. Well furnished. Great location for people who want a quiet vacation in a beautiful location with great beaches. Sunset pizza is currently closed, so there is very little restaurant food nearby. Plan to cook or drive. We loved Hale Plumeria and will probably stay there again if we are able.

Our stay in Hawaii was great and staying at the Hale Plumeria Sunset Beach made it even more special. Our first impression was one of reservation but after we got in and traveled around the island we loved staying there. There was plenty of room for all, quiet and the view great. The house has a unique charm that was totally inviting. We would definitely stay there again.
