We really enjoyed our stay, the pool area was nice and sunny and the full kitchen was awesome. The only suggestion I would make is to include a detailed map of the condo development in the entry instructions. We arrived very late at night and had to park outside the gate while I walked around trying to find our unit to access the keys in the lock box. Hard to find the right unit number in the dark !! Other then that, our visit was wonderful. Would recommend other guests try the burgers at the Kahuku Grill and check out the market in the old Wailalua sugar mill.
Thanks !

The Old Town of Haleiwa is 20 minutes away where you can enjoy some interesting shops, restaurants, and the boat harbor. If you want to swim with the sharks, you can check out the tours offered. Come be our guest and enjoy 'country' paradise at its best.
This is a gorgeous, immaculate, 2 bedroom + loft, 2 bath condo on the North Shore of Oahu at Turtle Bay. It has recently been furnished entirely with imported teak furniture from Bali. Located on the 10th fairway of the golf course, with a constant breeze flowing through the unit, it is an amazing place to relax. The grounds at Kuilima and Turtle Bay are perfectly manicured and tropical. It's the type of place that you can spend days, just walking around, going to the beach, sipping a drink at the pool bar over looking the ocean and never want to leave! Come check out the North Shore of Oahu, the country side of the island, and leave the hustle and noise of the other side be! Interior Specifics: Approx 1600 square feet This condo is truly amazing throughout! As you approach the unit you will encounter a teak bench, and towel rack outside the front door for you to hang your suits, and towels and shoes for your convenience. As you walk inside you will first encounter more teak towel/coat racks, and a hutch to leave your keys, purses etc! To your right is the downstairs bedroom, stocked with a king size teak and bamboo framed bed, and dressers and nightstands to match. With plenty of closet space, an AC unit and a full length slider. Right outside this bedroom is the downstairs bathroom. As you make your way down the hall and into the kitchen you will find a fully stocked kitchen, with ceramic dishware from Indonesia, and all the essentials you will need. It is equipped with fairly new appliances including Refrigerator, range oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. The kitchen is opened up to the dining and living room area through a bar top area with barstools. Moving into the dining and living room you will find a beautiful solid teak wood dining table and chairs. The living room has a queen size dark wicker day bed, with a ton of pillows and is perfect for sitting up and reading a book and laying down and watching a movie or falling asleep (this is where many end up sleeping). The entertainment center is filled with beautiful artifacts and house wares from Indonesia. It also has Cable TV, DVD, CD player, and speaker system for your ipod or mp3. Going upstairs, you first see the loft which has two beautifully made twin teak beds (great for kids), and matching dressers and end table. They will also enjoy a ceiling fan and their own private closet. Also at the top of the stairs is a washer/dryer. The master bedroom is great!!! It has a gorgeous solid teak, low rise king bed frame, and tropical linens. There is a matching bench at the foot of the bed, matching dressers and nightstands. This room also has a full slider, ceiling fan, AC, and private bath. Leave the sliders open in the living room and bedrooms while you home and the breeze will fill the entire unit. We have personally never used the AC! The unit is filled with scenes from Hawaii, including framed photos of beaches, mountains and waterfalls. Exterior/Complex Specs: Kuilima Estates at Turtle Bay has one of the most beautiful grounds I've ever seen! The property is landscaped with plumeria, hibiscus trees, flowers, grass, and trees, so perfectly that it looks surreal. The complex itself is a low rise, low density style place with plenty of space and flow between units. They are wood shingled units, with about 4 per cluster. There is one assigned parking spot, with the number 49, and plenty of guest parking spots as well. There are pools and tennis courts close by to the condo, and both are in perfect condition. The condos are also surrounded by 36 holes of golf, and are absolutely beautiful. The way the wind blows through this area of Hawaii, you will fill like you are at the cleanest place on earth. The sky is blue, and there's a perfect of mix of wind, rain and sun, to keep it bright and glowing with life. It is just a short walk along the golf course to the beach and the Turtle Bay Resort. The beach here is amazing, there are miles of secluded beaches on both sides of the resort, and there are beachside trails to access them. To the right of Turtle Bay you can find a secret swimming hole, and walk through sand dunes, and to the left of Turtle Bay you can walk past the stables and stumble upon Kawela Bay, an incredible crescent shaped bay with calm waters, and few, if any, people. There are also many places to surf or dive if that's your thing. The grounds are huge and it is easy to spend days cruising around this area, the trails are well maintained and perfect for running and biking as well. If you choose to be less adventurous, Turtle Bay has a beach with year round swimming and snorkeling, snack bar, showers and beach rentals. You also have the resort amenities at your doorstep as well. They offer surfing lessons, horseback riding, yoga, full spa facility, etc! Turtle Bay has some great restaurants, and places to have a drink, including the pool bar, overlooking the Pacific.

We found the accommodation absolutely beautiful, it was very close to a beautiful bay. We found the accommodation very homely easy to settle in. The best restaurant we found was in Waikiki the Tiki Bar in one word Awesome.....
One of the downfalls and it was more in planning on our part is it is an hours drive to/from Waikiki/ Honolulu. . the space was fantastic for the 4 adults and two children but with little children i would recommend a security gate for the stairs. absolutely would stay there again. Very easy, service was excellent.

What I liked best about the unit I rented was the space for our extended family, especially the two bathrooms. Critical with two teenage girls.
The best part of my trip was the daily memories that we made as a family. The fireworks cruise on the Makani and kissing and dancing with dolphins at Sea Life Park were just two of the awsome activities.
My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be to believe what you hear about traffic into the southern areas of the island. It is going to take some time if you travel in the morning.
We ate in most meals but did make it to shaved ice at Masamoto's (spelling?) three times. Big hit with all of us.
Giovanni's shrimp was also incredible.
