The unit has a beautiful view of the ocean and a very nice protected beach. We loved the quiet and low key nature of the windward side of Oahu. The mountain views were stunning. Surfing watching, whale watching, sailing and shopping were very nice on the North Shore. The crab cakes at the Crouching Lion restaurant were great.

I thought the unit was nice, however the entire condominium building was a less than expected. The pool was unheated and needed upgrading. The area was nice and remote, but could have used a few restaurants. The unit was very nice, but lacked certain items such as dish towels, an iron and a dust pan.

I would actually give it 3.5 stars. The inside of the unit was nicely remodeled with the exception of the fixtures in the shower. It was wonderful to have a washer/dryer in the unit, but it is very loud. It was still a little warm even with the windows open and the ceiling fans on. It was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking our own dinner instead of always eating out. A small BBQ grill might have been nice. A couple of extra pillows would have also been good. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. It was quite enjoyable to be out of the hustle and bustle of the hotels on Waikiki. Thank you!!
