We had a very nice family reunion vacation. The rental house was rated "good", not higher because of some of the small things that were not functioning when we checked in (mostly lighting issues). The contact people were very nice, but by the end of the week, most of the non functional lights were still not functional! Think it just must be "relaxed island living attitude".
The family that stayed in the upstairs portion of the house also said that it was not very clean. (sand on the floors, roach in a dresser drawer) Felt they left it cleaner than when they received it.
Having no AC in a house with unvented skylights is also not optimal. These skylights were in the main living area and the whole house really heated up every afternoon...just like a solar cooker! Suggest the owner install AC or vent the skylights! (That is from one who doesn't have AC at home and lives in hot, humid SE Ohio!)

The Condo was everything you could imagine in Hawaii! The beach was close, there was plenty to do such as riding bikes, board riding, snorkeling, etc. When I go again, I definately want to stay at the Sunset Big House II again. Staying on the north shore was really good, plenty of beaches to visit and it allowed travel to the Polinesian Cultral Center and several different hikes etc. Very fun.
