This home was very beautiful and the actual house was fine. However, there is another owner on the property in a separate house and just watches every single thing that happens. He is part owner of their pool so it was the most uncomfortable time for us. The children could not even jump into the pool. We understand the diving, but, no standing on the edge? We have family on the island and they came over for a B.B.Q. and we were called and told to have them leave or we were going to be evicted!!!! We were called several times with the count of people that we had over! The property manager even said he was going to come and walk through the house to see who was there. We were not partying or being rowdy, everyone works and were gone before 10 and we were just a family there!
We never were able to relax at the property. The "neighbors" called and complained about having too many cars.............we only had 2 and we could not even park on the property, the other owner uses all of the parking for his workers that come onto the property as well. The time there at the house was not like renting a private home......I was even asked to do laundry and the cleaning fee is $600.00? There was a dead bird on the property and the manager just threw it into a bush right by the windows to the house, enough said about that. It was a very expensive home and was not worth the grief. I was even told already that I would not get my deposit back because I had 12 people there, the house sleeps 8. The island is fantastic.........we will go back in the winter but never ever request that house.
