Blue Water Estate Ocean Front Luxury

Fabulous views, extremely comfortable house. I hope to stay again. Eleven of us stayed very comfortable - my husband & I, our 2 young kids, my sister & her husband, their 2 young kids, my in-laws and my dad. It was well stocked, and the views were truly breathtaking.

what a great place to stay, the house is just like the pics very nice. derek the property manneger was great he had great tips for us on places to eat and see laurel kenney was the best agent. ask for her she is very helpfull. we went w/11 people and we had plenty of room. the boys got the sudio so there was no yell at them to go to bed or be quiet at night i'm sure they liked that. the house is in a good location not alot of traffic and down the street is a good place to see the sun rise in the morning we got good pics. have fun here we did oh, love the beach great place for football or having fun.

Blue Hawaii

I thought the place was wonderful. It was very nice and clean.

Blue Water Lagoon

I liked that the unit had a full kitchen - we ate breakfast before we left every morning. The customer service was very good - had some problems with workers and noise on the property, but it was quickly resolved. Next trip, we have to visit Waimea Falls - disappointed we missed it this time. Enjoyed the food at Hale'iwa Joes, Jameson by the Sea, and Giovanni's Shrimp truck. Loved Matsumoto's shave ice.

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

The information that I was given about the Ocean Breeze Suite was very accurate. The location was terrific and we really enjoyed the north shore, especially after driving down to Waikiki. I would definitely recommend the unit to others. Thanks so much!

Royal Hawaiian Beach Front Luxury 314

We had a great time!! The apartment was beautiful, I don't think I'll ever want to stay in a hotel again. The beach is amazing and so private, no crowds to deal with. Neighbors were quiet and everyone was friendly. I've already sent your link to a friend that's interested, and I know we would love to come back next year. Thanks for everything!!

Sarah T., Hamilton, Ontario, 6.8.09

Papaya Hale II

We loved Papaya Hale II! It was perfect for my husband and I and our 9 year old daughter. Everything we needed was available and we loved the garden, the beach and the location. We recommend bringing basic snorkel gear (or purchase here, it is reasonable), beach towels and a small flashlight (for walking on the beach at night) as well as a mesh back for your gear--these were the only things that we added to the basic beach wear that we packed. If we return to Oahu, we will definately stay here again!

Maureen H., Fairchild AFB, WA, 6.3.09

Royal Hawaiian Beach Front Luxury 314

The unit was very well appointed, providing beach towels, chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear, washer/dryer, full kitchen... The view from the lanai was beautiful, the sunrises were exceptional to look at. The unit has been fantastically renovated, the bed was very comfortable. It was perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing and romantic vacation. It is about 20-30 min from Turtle Bay Resort where you can find great restaurants and a beautiful beach. It is nearby the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Kualoa Ranch and many beautiful beaches. The only drawback is that there isn't anything really close by, driving is a must.

Martine N., Ottawa, ON, 5.27.09

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

the location of this place was perfect for people trying to get away from the hustle of waikiki and honolulu. i will say the pull out couch needs a new cushion. but unless a couple is planning on sleeping downstairs, which would be a mistake, it is not that big of a deal. there was everything we needed and the stay was very comfortable with very cool neighbors. thank you for the option to rent this place as we plan to rent this place once a year. Mahalo!!

Audan P., Raleigh, NC, 5.22.09

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

The unit was fantastic. We all liked the wonderful shower, and that the kitchen was so complete in all untensils. Ray was so willing to accomendate us, we needed two extra coffee cups to a 1/4 cup of milk, he gave us a can of condense milk. The best part of our trip was just lounging around the suite, walking the beach when it wasn't raining, and being with family. The kitchen was so complete that we ate all our meals there. I have already told everyone about the suite. There is one thing that the guys have suggested, and that is the bed in the kitchen could be a hida bed, so you would have a couch to sit on when watching the T.V. (That would be only when it rains, which it did alot of while we were there.) Also maybe the T.V. in the bedroom! The girls think it was just perfect. Thank you. Hoping to coming back in the next couple of years.

David J., Arlington, Wa, 4.29.09

Beach Front Jewel

We enjoyed our stay. It was like a home away from home. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Although we frequented the local shrimp trucks and other delightful eating spots, it was nice to be able to prepare some of the world's freshest foods in a great kitchen. The best part of my trip was diving and hearing 'whale music'. Haleiwa was a great place to hang out. I will miss the Maui sweet onion chips.... I will be back again and again.

Arron B., St Albert, Alberta, Canada, 4.16.09

This property was great! I would book again in the future!

Ginger H., Herriman, Utah, 4.1.09

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

This is a NICE unit. It is decorated very tastefully. You CAN NOT beat the location on the beach. PERFECT! Slept with the sliding doors open listening to the ocean waves crash. Ray was very helpful.

Stephanie P., Cumming, Georgia, 3.16.09

Blue Hawaii

No bugs in the unit, everyone there in the complex was very friendly, everything was clean, furnished well.

Starr M., Anchorage, AK, 2.28.09

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

The unit was very neet, and clean. Nicer than I expected...Raymond was patient and helpful on phone when we arrived. I would love to return, we wish we had booked more of our days there. The only disapointment was that by unit discription I thought unit was on Ocean, by statement "Facing Ocean" , it does but there is a 2 story house in front of it: however, the shutters on door could be opened to veiw ocean from bed, but you can not see ocean from any other windows. There are a bunch of chickens next property over, very noisey for 2 hours before and at sunrise.

CIndy M., Brightwood, OR, 2.25.09

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

The Ocean Breeze Suite was an excellent way to round off our 10-Hawaii visit. We started out on the Big Island for 5 days followed by Oahu for 5 days. Ocean Breeze accounted for the last 3 and they were great! A semi-secluded beach and ocean bay was litterally steps away from the back door with access to snorkeling and kayaking (gear available from property manager). The location of the home is just a short drive to Sunset Beach and Shark's Cove: both are awesome places to visit. The accomodations are great with spacious living area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and vanity indoors. The home also has a beach hammock and a hot/cold shower outside to rinse off after a beach walk or swim. I would recomend this rental to anyone who is looking to stay in the North Shore region...perfect both for relaxing and exploring.

Amanda L., Kirkwood, MO, 2.4.09

Blue Water Estate Ocean Front Luxury

Blue Water Estate is a spacious and gracious vacation home with a magnificent view of surf rolling in to the nearby bay. Our 3-generation, 6-member family was completely comfortable living there for our week of vacation. Essentially everything was in good working order, and the agent was readily available to answer any questions we had. We mostly did our own cooking, but we did eat out at Lei Lei at the golf course at Turtle Bay. We also checked out Ted's Bakery. Both were very good, and wer good "insider tips". We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the North Shore. We found a couple of nice beaches for the kids to ride their boogie boards without huge crowds. This is the place to be for an easy-going family vacation while still being able to go into busy Honolulu for shopping, fancy restaurants, or Pearl Harbor. We weren't able to visit Waimea Valley, as the road was closed by two mudslides. Another trip.... Also, for laid back golfers, the public course at Kahuku was perfect. There was even a bristle-thighed curlew walking around near the 2nd tee! We thought the Polynesian Cultural Center was overrated and overpriced, although we did enjoy it. We were also disappointed by the snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Maybe it was just a bad day, but the water was quite cloudy, making it hard to enjoy the reef fish. I still don't know where there is good snorkeling on O'ahu. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Sarah W., Mercer Island, WA, 1.4.09

Turtle Cove Beachfront

The rental unit was very relaxing. We enjoyed being away from the crowds. Thank you for a great vacation.

Teresa G., Hawley, MN, 12.29.08

Blue Water Lagoon

I want to thank you for the outstanding service and location at the Blue Water Lagoon. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the facility was and best of all was the tradewinds at night that was enjoyed on the Patio (Lani). Our time at the home was for a family / business meeting and I could not think of a better place to have stayed. Grocery store was down the street and the view was outstanding. We were only a short drive from all the tourist things to do but it was nice to come "Home" away from all the crowds. Having the BBQ was especially a nice touch. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beach view property. If rest and relaxation is high on your list, this is the place to stay!!!

Aloha Beach House

The unit had every amenity imaginable! Great close restaurant is "Crouching Lion". Best sun set is as "Sunset Beach" Best snorkeling in the area is at "Sharks Cove". Best Luau is at the "Poleasian Cultural Center"

Kathe B., Cincinnati, Ohio, 9.1.08

Kuilima 49 East

1. The location was great. 2. The customer service was excellent. 3. My advice to someone else staying in the unit is to buy coffee at Starbucks. The coffee maker was broken. Also, there needs to be some general maintenance performed on the unit. There were broken tiles in the kitchen.

Dominique K., Redlands, CA, 8.28.08

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

The location of the rental was fantastic and the owner was very nice. The description of the unit was a bit misleading on the site, as the unit was just an attachment above a garage (and not a condo) and should be not be categorized as a 1bedroom/loft since it's really just a loft with a very low ceiling.

Eric C., Los Angeles, CA, 8.22.08

Blue Hawaii

What I liked about the unit I rented was the beautiful ocean view from the lanai. It was also nice to have a pool too. The snorkeling was also very good and the beach was kid friendly.

Anne C., Salt Lake City, Utah, 8.4.08

Sunset Big House ll

We had a very nice family reunion vacation. The rental house was rated "good", not higher because of some of the small things that were not functioning when we checked in (mostly lighting issues). The contact people were very nice, but by the end of the week, most of the non functional lights were still not functional! Think it just must be "relaxed island living attitude". Having no AC in a house with unvented skylights is also not optimal. These skylights were in the main living area and the whole house really heated up every afternoon...just like a solar cooker! Suggest the owner install AC or vent the skylights! (That is from one who doesn't have AC at home and lives in hot, humid SE Ohio!)

Rebecca A., Athens, OH, 8.4.08

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

The unit was decorated nicely and was cozy. We liked the proximity to the beach. The only issues we had were there wasn't enough counter space in the bathroom. The bathroom needed a door. A door serves quite a few purposes, especially when the kitchen and table are set up directly outside the door. I was also disappointed in the kitchenware. Several times I needed a large bowl and there wasn't one. We were asked to turn off the A/C when we left which resulted in extremely warm room when we got back. There weren't any back windows so it was hard to get a good cross breeze to vent the place. I was glad to find an iron and blow dryer, unfortunately when I called to see if they were there I was told they weren't so I ended up packing them and hadn't needed to. As I told Laurel, we weren't given many towels and only two washcloths and although I could have asked for more I was not comfortable doing so. Perhaps I expect too much as I am also a condo owner and am expected to furnish every little thing to our renters. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but probably would not stay there again.

Melanie C., Waterloo, IL, 7.23.08

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

Being right on the ocean was wonderful! We loved the sound of the surf (24/7). We loved playing in the sand, walking on the beach and snorkling right outside the condo. The owners were very helpful and took care off everything we needed. The best part of our trip was taking surfing lessons from Sunset Suzy. The best restauraunt was at Lei Lei's at Turtle Bay. The best picture was of the sunrises from the lanai of the condo - every morning! I can't wait to tell me friends that the beach was only 10 feet from our door each morning. My advice to future guests would be locate the A/C early. We slept one very hot night without it. We found it the next day. The quarters are tight, but the room you have on (practically) your own private beach is worth it. We took a great little hike into the mountains on advice of the owner. It was about a 2 hour hike (stopped for lots of pics) and close to the condo (10 minutes). We saw beautiful plants and views of valleys and oceans. Staying at the Ocean Breeze was the best start to our Hawaiian Island-hopping vacation.

Amy M., Germantown, TN, 7.9.08

- Right next to the ocean - Right next to the Polynesian center - Maria and Ray were very nice and helpfull - Nice appartment - beautiful place

Morten H., Kolding, Denmark, 7.4.08

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

Your home was lovely with Hawaiian decor. I especially liked the way Hawaiian pictures and knick-knacks were displayed throughout the house. The spiraling staircase (not recommended for small children) led to the loft sleeping area which was soothing and relaxing with a big Hawaiian fan overhead. The whole house reminded me of a spa atmosphere. I would recommend this unit to anyone visiting Hawaii.

JOYCE B., Bakersfield, CA, 7.2.08

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

We loved how close the beach and ocean were to the house. They were just across the street! The customer service was great, not only from Mark, the guy who handles this rental, but also from Jodi, who talked to me on the phone and really explained the different rentals and locations and everything else! The best part of our trip was just hanging out in the house, napping, strolling along the beach, and watching the sunset over the ocean. The best restaraunt was absolutely one of the restaraunts at The Turtle Bay Resort. The best picture we took was of us in front of the sunset over the ocean. We also took a picture of a Hawaian kitty! They look different than Missouri kitties! I can't wait to tell my friends about all the history that lies in Oahu. We loved Ilani Palace, Pearl Harbor, and China Town. My advice for someone renting this house is to bring lots of clothes and towels. The washer/dryer was outside and a little dirty and smelly. Also the towels were smelly and mildewy. Not a huge deal though! There was a laundary mat twenty minutes away. I would recommend for everyone to visit Pearl Harbor, Ilani Palace, and China Town. Diamond Head was also very cool. The author Dorinda Nicholson, who is famous for writing a book about experiencing Pearl Harbor, told us we had to visit Ilani Palace and China Town. China town had the best Chinese food ever! We ate at the Little Village. Next trip I would like to swim with dolphins. Another cool thing we did was take a glass-bottom boat ride. We got to see the mountain that was featured in Jarrasic Park, the little island featured in the tv show, Gilligan's Island, and float over coral reef with lots of beautiful fish and a sea turtle.

Chad M., Grain Valley, MO, 6.20.08

Sunset Big House ll

The Condo was everything you could imagine in Hawaii! The beach was close, there was plenty to do such as riding bikes, board riding, snorkeling, etc. When I go again, I definitely want to stay at the Sunset Big House II again. Staying on the north shore was really good, plenty of beaches to visit and it allowed travel to the Polinesian Cultral Center and several different hikes etc. Very fun.

The only reason for 4, not 5 stars was that you need to bring your own shampoo/lotion/coffee... :) Everything was beautiful!!

Traci C., Boerne, Tx, 6.15.08

Waimea Point

What we liked best was the view and proximity to the two beaches on either side. The master bathroom and tub were fabulous and the outdoor shower very helpful. The deck and bbq were great. The problems were: 1-horrible, uncomfortable seats (we had to purchase beach chairs at the market to bring in to the house so we could sit more than 2 people to watch tv) and not enough seating in the den area to accommodate 6 adults at one time AND the deck chairs were also incredibly uncomfortable 2-it really does not sleep 6 people, as the couch/futon in the third room is small and uncomfortable (and we were traveling with 4 college kids and 2 parents, not with 3 couples) 3-nobody responded to our calls when we needed help (with making the dvd player work and a need for more toilet paper and garbage bags)....on the plus side, they DID respond when the toilet was broken and they sent repair people over quickly (i.e., unimpressive customer service while we were there, which was in contrast to the efficient customer service i received on line prior to arriving) 4-we prefer to recylce things so tried to drive the recycling in to Haleiwa each day, but it was challenging....mb a recylce bin and a regular bin??

Jody K., Northridge, CA, 6.14.08

Papaya Hale III

1) the location 2) excellent 3) the Kualoa Ranch ATV rid 4) at the Turle Bay golf resort restaurant 5) the Turtle Bay golfing was excellent 6) to expect bugs (although the landlord is trying to get rid of them) and to expect poor TV reception on many channels 7) the ATV ride at Kualoa Ranch 8) the Wednesday swap meet at Aloha Stadium 9) more snorkling 10) watch out for people stealing your gasoline from your rental vehicle. Mine didn't have a locking gas cap, and I almost didn't make it in time to the airport for my flight home after I discovered that my gas had been stolen.

Keith K., Yorba Linda, California, 6.1.08

Waimea Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very nice and comfortable. Somehow we didn't understand that "complete kitchen" does not include a dishwasher. There were also a few necessities that we wish we would have had for cooking - a spatula, other utensils and a dish towel. We also didn't have a broom until we asked for one. We were disappointed that there wasn't a BBQ. We had already bought our steaks before we came and so had to cook them on the stove. It would be good if others knew before they arrived that there wasn't a BBQ there. The spinkler system comes on a lot and makes a lot of mud in the parking area. All in all it was an awesome stay. We enjyed the sunsets and walks on the beach. We enjoyed the quietness of the town and the Foodland store. We would recomend it to our friends and may even come back ourselves someday!

Ed S., Conifer, Colorado, 5.23.08

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

Excellent aloha and talk story from our host. Everything was what we had expected it to be: great oceanfront view, clean, centrally located for our needs, many activities nearby. Definitely would recommend to family and friends. We'll be back. Aloha, and Mahalo.

Bryan G., Orlando, Florida, 4.29.08

Blue Hawaii

Very nicely decorated condo with just about everything you need to make a great vacation in Hawaii. The beach was very kid friendly and the pool a nice extra as well - although you don't really need the pool. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4 (our two kids, 8 and 5, slept on the sleeper sofa). The condo complex was very quiet so we had no issues with any noisy neighbors or being able to go to bed early. Even if the unit had AC we would not have needed it (in April). Although we think a first aid kit would have been a good addition (we couldn't find one). Also - be sure to know that checkout is at 10:00 AM! - We thought for some reason it was noon like most condo arrangements and were caught off guard a bit. We came to Punaluu to avoid the busy Waikiki area. However we still wanted to visit some of the main attractions, so the drive was at least an hour to Diamond head, Pear Harbor, Sea Life Park, etc. The traffic going back to the condo was a bit rough from 3:30 pm until about 5:30pm. Although it was only a few minutes to the Poly. Cultural Center and of course the north shore attractions are not that far away either. There is grocery shopping within a few miles plus a gas station, etc. We saved a lot of money buy eating in - the kitchen was adequately equipped with newer appliances. During the late afternoon swims we always saw sea turtles which was exciting for us. The snorkeling right off the beach was Ok - but there are certainly better spots to do this in Oahu (namely Hanauma Bay).

Marc R., Fall City, WA, 4.10.08

Waimea Point

This house was absolutely beautiful. The location exceeded our expectations...right on the ocean, house very clean, and within walking distance to two beautiful beaches. We rarely had to drive anywhere. Great snorkeling at both beaches. We appreciated all the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella that were provided. There is a grocery store within walking distance which was convenient for extra needed items, but I would suggest doing most of your shopping at the Costco right off the freeway as you head to Northshore (I would highly advise to save money). I would also advise Ted's Bakery just up the highway a bit by Sunset Beach...yummy homebaked goods. The only suggestion I would make as far as the rental unit goes, is to fix the electric gate by the street - we would have liked to close it every night for safety/privacy reasons. We noticed most homes along the coast in this area had their gates closed. If you want a quiet, laid-back, spend quality time with family, read-a-book vacation...then this is the place for you! It truly holds the essence of Hawaiian culture and relaxed lifestyle, definitely worlds away from the busy city of Honolulu.

Allison B., Reno, NV, 4.1.08

Blue Water Estate Ocean Front Luxury

What I liked best about Blue Water Estate is that it had a place for my 89-year-old mother-in-law to sit that did NOT expose her to the sun (she has a lot of skin cancer problems) yet DID expose her to the ocean! Awesome "back porch"! I also loved having 4 separate bedrooms, so people could get away from each other, but still lots of "common area" for us to come together. My advice to someone else staying here is "Be prepared to fall in love!"

Lenann M., Albuquerque, NM, 3.30.08

Kuilima 49 East

The condo was sufficiently large for our needs, and was as good as it looked on from the website pictures. I am impressed with your CRM system in terms of e-mail notification, directions, and this customer survey. You guys do a nice job. Todd

Todd R., Palo Alto, CA, 3.29.08

Waimea Cottage

1. The front sliding security gate was inoperable and remained in the open position for our entire stay, thus the cottage and adjoining beach house were open to the street and could be accessed from the street by the general public. 2. The parking area which is shared by the cottage and the beach house was unlighted and very dark at night. There was an exterior light fixture positioned on the cottage to light the parking area, but the bulb had been removed and never replaced. 3. Smoke detectors throughout the house were disconnected. Some had the batteries removed, others had the batteries disconnected. 4. Electrical power outlets in the kitchen did not work, therefore we could not use the coffee pot or microwave oven for our entire stay. 5. The shower in the bathroom immediately off the living room did not work. Water flowed from the spigot into the tub, but the diverter valve that shifts water from the tub to the shower head did not work. Everyone had to shower in the other bathroom for our entire stay. 6. One of the bedroom's closet door (louvered/accordian type) was completely falling apart. We could not use the closet for fear that moving the door would cause it to fall apart into pieces. 6. The cottage was very clean.

Don D., Warson Woods, Missouri, 3.29.08

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

OK, We agree with most of the previous comments, nice walk on the beach at sunrise, walk to the Polynesian Cultural Center and save $5 parking, well appointed except there was no place to put clothes so you live out of your suitcase. How come no one mentioned the 100+ chickens and roosters next door. Yes they are quiet for a few hours in the evening but they start in at 3:00 in the morning. The first night we had everything open and the breeze was great, but when the chickens started in at 3:00 in the morning, we had to close everything up and turn on the A/C. So much for listening to the ocean sounds. I'm sorry, but the chicken farm is a deal breaker for us. I will not recommend this place until the chicken farm is gone. Jim & Connie Rockford, IL

James C., Rockford, IL, 3.26.08

Aloha Beach House

Our family enjoyed the beach house - it was a home away from home. Staying here was very relaxing. The close proximity to the fruit stands and shrimp trucks, as well as the Polynesian Cultural Centre was appreciated. The part of our trip that we would recommend to others is to enjoy the busy Waikiki area with all of its attractions and shopping, but to also take time to enjoy the quieter side of the island. Vacationing in Hawaii is very exciting. Now that we've been there once, on our next trip we're looking forward to spending more time on the beaches.

Tricia P., Indian Head, Saskatchewan, 3.17.08

Papaya Hale III

This was an ideal place for our family. The location was wonderful. It is just a very short walk (through a small backyard) to a great beach. The owner was very helpful but not intrusive ( he lives in the house behind the unit- actually on the beach). It was very comfortable, although I wouldn't classify it as luxurious due to some minor quibbles (no dishwasher or garbage disposal) and only one bathroom. It is also next to a road that is fairly busy but if it bothers you you can always turn on the AC and shut the windows. We chose not to as we love the Hawaiian air. The beach was very nice (and huge). Many of the beaches on Oahu are crowded, but not this one. I suspect it is because public access is a bit difficult, which makes this location all the better. It has a huge reef that makes swimming and goofing in the water quite safe. The PCC was also across the street, which is a great place. The nearby college campus and the Mormon temple are both beautiful and it is well worth spending some time at the visitors center at the temple. I am not a huge fan of Oahu in general (as opposed to the other Hawaiian islands), but I love the North Shore. As far as other tips staying there- if you are trying to save some bucks you can always cook at this unit. There is a Foodland just down the street (make sure and get a Makai card- it will save you big bucks). McDonalds is across the street. For breakfast you have to go to the Hukilau cafe (the short stack of blueberry or banana pancakes is plenty to fill you up). The PCC has a good luau and the Ambassador restaurant is very good. The college also has a decent place for food called the Seasider- try the stir fry. There are also some places fairly close where you can get the veritable "plate lunch".

Aloha Beach House

What my family and I enjoyed most about the house we rented is it felt like a home, we were very comfortable right away. The people at customer service are very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. I would recommend the house and company to any friends or family.

Heather L., Chicago Park, CA, 3.1.08

Kuilima 49 East

The rental property was great. Next time I visit the North Shore I will be looking to get back into this unit. Very clean, right next to the Turtle Bay resort at a much better price. With four people in our party we would have to have rented two rooms which would have been double the price. Aloha!!!! See you next year.

Matt J., Farmington, UT, 2.27.08

Ocean Breeze at Tiki Moon Villas

The best about the unit I rented was the view/setting - right on a private beach with nice sunrises. The owners were very nice as well and very helpful and the suite was very clean and homey feeling. The location is a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the scenery Oahu has to offer. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to my friends who want to come to this island for a different experience than just Waikiki.

Stephen B., Calgary, Alberta, 2.21.08

Blue Water Lagoon

I made these arrangements with a group of friends that were attending the pro-bowl. They all had different agendas and places to go. We were all very happy with the space at the rental. Everyone had plenty of room and found that it was very comfortable to relax. We did do alot of our own cooking and found that we had everything we needed. We were very pleased that there was a grocery store within walking distance and that was a big convenience. We listened to music, watched movies and enjoyed the view while relaxing on the deck. Just a few minutes away we found the nicest beaches and enjoyed eating from the many shrimp trucks parked along the road side. We found that the coolers and folding chairs very convenient for trips to the beach and for our tailgating at the pro-bowl. This would be a great family getaway. Nice and quiet. I have already told many of my friends and family about the property and hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I did. We did have a couple of very minor issues but when I called, they were immediately taken care of. Thank you so much

The rental was very clean and comfortable. I loved being able to sit on the balcony and see the ocean. It was just a short walk to the beach which was especially nice for the evening sunset. It is just a short drive to the bonzi pipeline and waimea beaches.

Although the unit did not have a beach view, the premisis was right on the beach. There was a hammock between some trees and just listening to the surf and watching the clouds was relaxing. The beach is narrow but one can walk to the north end of the beach which is about 1/4 mile. Raymond, the owner, was very friendly and lent us goggles and fins. The bathroom has a shower with a huge shower head that gives wonderful, coursing water. The three bedrooms are comfortable. The front room and dining room combine and make a good gathering place to eat, snack, play games, and hang out. The house is directly across from the Polynesian Cultural Center parking lot. We visited the center for a few hours, walked across the street to eat and rest up, and then returned for the evening show. We got home about 10 minutes after the show ended. Those from Waikiki must have had over an hour's drive ahead of them. This is one excellent opportunity for learning more about the polynesian culture. The location of the house made it easy to watch surfers at the Bonzai Pipeline, only about 10-15 minutes away. The surf was about 8-10 feet and the surfing was unbelievable with some shooting the curl. We visited the white shrimp van and had an excellent meal of 12 butter shrimp and 2 scoops of rice for 12 bucks. I had already stayed for a week at the West Coast at Makaha so it was a nice balance for the vacation. I recommend this accomodation to anyone who is going to Oahu and wants a comfortable, well situated house to stay in.

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

We can't wait to tell our friends about the Coconut Bungalow. The place is in a super location and is very comfortable and well appointed. The folks are friendly and very helpful. Our favorite thing was the early morning beach walks. We shall return.

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

We really appreciated the gas grill and the availability of the washer & dryer during our stay. The kitchen pots and pans are limited, but mostly enough to accomodate basic cooking needs. Impressive surf at the beach & yummy treats from the bakery down the street.

Blue Hawaii

The rental unit was quiet, clean and right next to the beach. I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to a friend!

Aloha Beach House

The house was perfect for two people. We loved how shabby beach chic it was. You deffinetly need a rental car for this house, since it is on the Windward side. We would loved to take the house back home with us for a lake house. The only thing was that the driveway is really easy to pass up since it is between a couple of houses and on a corner and a lot of traffic goes by the house. We would still highly recommend this place to our friends and family. Thanks from Washington.

Waimea Point

The house was very nice and I loved being so close to the waves and close proximity to sandy beaches. Need more dish towels to help keep everything clean. thanks.

Papaya Hale III

Papaya Hale' is a wonderful place. The first thing you notice is the love, care and up-keep that has been done inside the rental and the surrounding property down to the beach (which isn't far from the back door). Gorgeous decor! The customer service we received was exceptional. Everything was either at our finger tips or put at our finger tips by the owner. First time to Oahu and we are coming back and I hope it will be to stay at Papaya Hale'. Thank you for making our trip better than we ever thought it could be .... what fun. Mahalo!

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

The unit we rented contained everything we needed and the location was fantastic.Only a minute walk to sunset beach and 30 minute walk to pipeline. The best part of our trip was getting to see a couple of days of the pipeline masters. We also loved staying on the north shore, more beautiful than Waikiki. Not many restaurants in the near area but not a long drive to Haleiwa which has lots of shops, and nice little cafes and restaurants.

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

I loved the fact that I could walk out every morning and watch the sun rise. Raymond was great even though I didnt see him too much cause we were so busy. The best part of my trip was the whole thing. The best pictures we got were at the Paradise Cove at the luau. It was amazing. The best advise I can give is to plan all your activites you want to do ahead of time so you dont miss a thing. Thanks guys!!

Aloha Beach House

We loved our stay in the Aloha Beach House. The location is perfect and the home very comfortable and inviting. We were happy that the beds were so comfortable (even the hide-a-bed) and it was very clean. We really enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center, just five minutes up the beach. The Kuhuku shrimp trucks are a favorite as well. Thanks for setting us up with such great accommodations!

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

the unit was clean, and was what was advertised on the web. It was close to the beach and all we wanted to do. We were happy to see that they left us a soft cooler to use, and the stainless steel BBQ worked great for our steaks one night. The washer & dryer came in handy too, since we were heading to Honolulu later in the week.Overall a great time was had by all" Thanks

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

It was very nice inside. Its like 100 feet from the ocean front. The owner Ray was Awesome though good guy, He will help you with anything. Its a good place to just stay and chill and look at the view. There is a lot of rock right there on the beach. Right across from Polanesian Center. That was good. 10 minutes from turtle bay resort. Thanks. Stegen Phillips, Paul, Idaho

Unit was new, clean and in a good location for our plans. Is on major highway, but noise was present, but not intrusive Owner on site, and helpful with questions. Internet was wireless, but often as slow as dialup

The unit itself is perfect. It's deligtfully decorated and has everything you need to enjoy and relax. Be aware however that the exterior of the building is in dire need of repair and is currently under renovation. It will surprise you; but if you can get past that...well, then you will enjoy the condo.

The rental property was great. Only steps away from private beach where we saw sea turtle every morning. Location was also right across from the Polynesian Cultural Center, a must see for all travelers. Traffic was a little noisy, but corner room was very quite.

Blue Lagoon

The view from the unit was what we liked most and the customer service was excellent. The best part of the trip was how relaxing it was with all the beauty around you it gave you a feeling of serenity. We didn't hit to many restaurants but I guess the best we went to was Choloe's and the best picture I took was of my grandson & his mom playing in the ocean and there plenty others that were right up there with it. I've told my friends about the beauty, the weather and the home we stayed at they were all great. I would let them know everything that it has so they know before they get there. I would recommend visiting Waimea Valley & visiting the USS Arizona Memorial. I didn't get to snorkel and see the colorful fish and my one recommendation would be don't take many clothes you don't need them all I found out the hard way. It's a trip that none of us will ever forget and look forward to doing it again.

Hekeka Hale at Sunset Beach

We loved staying at the "Northshore" part of the island. My family had a wonderful time and the unit was perfect for the four of us. Our favorite place to visit was "Shark's cove" only a 3 minute drive from where we were at. We loved snorkeling and taking pictures of all the diverse sea life at that particular place. My son was even ready to sell our home for the perfect little beach house that we stayed in. The unit had lots of light and many windows to feel the breeze that blew in toward the later afternoon. The circular stairway was a bit much to navigate at times but the loft was very spacious. We visited numerous beaches and played in the sand and surf daily. We are now addicted to the plate lunches served at Ted's and L&Ls. We had breakfast at Kono's frequently where they serve banana and mac pancakes. Our favorite dinner was served at Jameson's and who could forget the famous snow cones all located in the old town of Haleiwa. We are already planning our next trip to Hawaii and had a fabulous time relaxing with the locals.

We had a great time, loved the location and the room. Everone was wondeful and made us feel welcomed. It was nice to sit on the beach behind the property and watch all the surfers. Great View. Really close to our favorate part of the island on the north shore. make sure and stop for some local fruit at the stands on the side of the road. If you get tired of hawiian food threres a great american BBQ about 15 minutes south of there called Bobos.

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

This was a perfect location to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and to get away from the city life in Waikiki. We love staying on this side of the island. The studio was clean and up to date. We really enjoyed the gardens and being right on the beach. It was beautiful.

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

The studio and facilities were absolutely fine and as expected for that kind of budget. The house owners on sight were really friendly and helpful. My only moan is that the pictures on the website do not reflect exactly where the studio is located .. the website implied that the studio was right on the beach (which is why we chose this studio rather than other vacation homes) however it is at the back of the owners house and you do not have a private outside area. Apart from that it was lovely.

Coconut Bungalow at Tiki Moon Villas

Hi Jade,rnFirstly the owners were great, I really think the studio is not yet ready for rental, the kitchen was incomplete, the hot water cylinder is very old and just warming the water, the refrigerator is noisy, there needs to be a locking screen door for breeze at night, and an awning over door to allow door to be left open at night in wet weather as there is no breeze from any other direction. Also a clothes line is needed. we mentioned most of this to the owners as they want make it right

Lovely flat, well furnished and with beautiful Photo taken by the owner. The location is perfect and just in front of the beach... My wife and I spent wonderful times there. It's been 30 years since our last trip to Hawaii. We wanted to return to the sun, surf, and beauty "old Hawaii" offers. We certainly found it by staying at the Blue Lagoon. It was perfect. I can't think of anything more that would have made our visit any better - unless it was a shorter plane ride. Being able to avoid the crowds, having Haleiwa nearby for shopping, etc, was wonderful. We are already planning our next trip and this time, it won't be such a long wait!
