There is a restaurant close to the Kualoa ranch, called the Tropicaina Bar and Grill. Their coconut shrimp were fantastic. The banana pancakes at the Huki Lau restaurant in Laie were so good, That place is a definite stop to eat. Ask for directions. Tish, the owner (along with her husband), was great! They do have nice beach towels, I wish I had known to save room in my suitcase.

This is a great place to stay with your family. Only minutes away from a beach, and you have a small beach of your own. The view from the deck is the best, watching the sunset and rise.

the home was very comfortable, clean, everything we needed and more. view spectacular.pleasant, peacefuland quiet. bedding was nice as well,good beds.wish we had more beach out front but just down the way is alot of beach access with plenty of sand to enjoy. the trip to waikii is not too far worth the travel time for qiet.all around experience, i would visit again.thank you. lucy

"Stunning Oceanfront Suite"
"We normally stay with family and friends, but wanted something a little different this time. Definitely a place to stay again. Not for anyone who actually WANTS to be in Town (Waikiki) very often during their trip. Beautiful drive down to Kailua. The unit was very clean (yeah!) and open. We spent most of our time sitting on the little deck watching the sunrise and enjoying the view. We LOVED that we had some wonderful dogs on either side of the property to help us with missing our own pups. We also appreciated the washer/dryer. Bring your snorkel and swim out for some nice snorkeling in shallow water because there are lotsa cool little ocean critters swimmin or crawling around. The owners are wonderful people with much aloha to share. No noise from the street or the unit above. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay!"
