Description

Hale Plumeria is a charming, Hawaiian Style, Country Home located on the North Shore at Sunset Beach. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 Queen beds, 2 twin beds and additionally a futon in the large, enclosed lanai room. We have recently completed a total renovation of Hale Plumeria; including all new tropical style furniture, new appliances, refinishing the solid oak floors, a complete renovation of both bathrooms; including new fixtures and tile showers and a new washer and dryer . Hale Plumeria is located directly across the street from Sunset Beach with some of the world's greatest surfing, swimming and diving opportunities.

Hale Plumeria is located on a large plumeria farm. Fresh leis and flowers are available at the farm. Ted's Bakery is a short walk minutes away down the road next to Sunset Beach Park. Lei Lei's restaurant at the Turtle Bay resort is just a short drive away, and is great for either a romantic evening or a family dinner. Kids are welcome there. On Saturday mornings you can find great flowers, fruit and other Hawaiian items at the Sunset Beach elementary school, definitely a local favorite.

Rates

Starting from $275.00 per night. 50% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 60 days before check-in $500.00 security deposit. $200.00 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

We just finished a wonderful stay at the Hale Plumeria. We practically had the beach all to ourselves during the week. We'd head down in the morning and be the only ones there. The weekends were definitely more crowded. We felt very welcomed by Raynel and right at home. There were neighbor dogs that came by to visit that helped us get through missing our own canine crew at home. They were very friendly and one of them seemed to smell each of our meals and timed her visits perfectly every time in order to get a tidbit! We ate most of our meals at the house. We headed to Costco as soon a we left the airport and that proved to be our best move of the trip. Saved us tons of money on eating out. We did head down the coast to Giovanni's Shrimp truck and it was the best meal of the trip, that and The Big City Grill in Honolulu....YUM!! The kids loved snorkeling all week. We rented from a shop right next door to the market across from the fire station. We had some equipment issues, but they were close and it was easy to get it fixed. The best part of our trip was to be able to relax. We didn't overplan our days, were often didn't have a plan. : ) When you stay here be prepared for long days on Sunset Beach and relaxing evenings on the lanai listening to the birds. It truly was paradise... I'm already looking forward to a return trip.

Being close to the beach was just great. The house was nicely furnished and decorated - lots of surfing pictures!

Plenty to see and do on the North Shore - we loved it. Sunset Beach was just beautiful and quiet.

This house was so very clean, The customer service is top notch, We were here on vacation and to see family, The best restaurant on the North shore was Joe's at the marina in Haleiwa. My advice to any one staying in this rental would be that if your looking for the touristy side of Oahu you will have to drive a bit. This property is so secluded and quiet that you feel so relaxed that you almost can't function! I can't say enough about Raynel, If you need anything she is #1 Also don't miss out on an early morning stroll down the road to Ted's Bakery! The best pastries on the island !!!! and if you are a snorkeler like we are Sharks cove is just a little bit down the road and fantastic, my daughter loved Waimeia Bay also.
