HANG ZEN is an oceanfront beach house located on the North Shore of Oahu. In addition to one of the best oceanfront views on the north shore there are tide pools out front, spectacular beaches to the right and a world famous diving spot (Sharks Cove) to the left. The home is raised off the ground to take advantage of the gentle ocean breezes and the stunning views. Our home is comprised of a 3 bedroom, 2 bath upstairs unit (sleeping up to 5 adults comfortably) and an additional attached studio with a separate entrance with 1 bath downstairs. Upstairs has a great room and deck off the kitchen, all with sweeping views of the tide pools and ocean. There is a manicured ocean front lawn and secluded access to tide pools and beaches. The studio downstairs has its own kitchenette and a private lanai with ocean views. There is a separate washer and dryer on each floor of the house.

I especially liked the location as it was next to Shark's Cove - a scuba diving, snorkling, tide-pooling, and swimming mecca. The sunsets (of which we took many pictures) were magnificent (hence called - Sunset Beach). The children liked watching the sea turtles swim by. At night from the balcony, it was exciting to see the scuba divers with their blue flashlights in the water either exploring or fishing. Foodland Supermarket is right up the street with the famous Ted's Bakery about a mile the other way. My daughters jogged to Waimea Bay (about 1 mile away) and jumped off the famous rock. Haleiwa is about three miles away with many local shops and restaurants.
Customer Service was very warm and accommodating -excellent Aloha spirit. When we arrived late (9:00 PM), we called Peg who helped us promptly with the mishap. Kudos to her! Thank you Greg and Chris for all your help also.
It was the ultimate living-on-the-beach dream with the surfers even if it was just for ten days. It was very relaxing and stress-free. Standing from the beach, this house "stands up" to the rest of the homes beside it. You've got to see and vacation in it for yourselves! Yes, I would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Oahu.
