"We had a fantastic time at the Hale Kai Nani II. My wife and I were so worried that at 1000 sq. ft. it would not be comfortable for our family of five. Boy, were we wrong! The rooms were so comfortable with a very spacious feeling especially in the main living area. The appliances were state-of-the-art, top notch and brand new. The wood floors and stone tile shower and bathrooms were at the same time opulant and earthy. rnrnOur host, "Bonnie", made us feel so very welcome and cared for us without being overbearing. She was very helpful in guiding us to the home once our plane landed, and when we arrived, Hawaiian music was playing on the stereo, the air conditioning was on and everything about arrival was welcoming and full of Hawaiian atmosphere and hospitality. rnrnThe location of the property itself could not be more desirable. There is a sizeable meticulously manicured lawn in thebackyard with two massive twisted trees (great for climbing) framing the gorgeous Pacific Ocean which was literally a stone's throw away. A lockable gate led us down to the white sands of our very own private beach! We were truly in paradise. rnrnOur kids enjoyed having a flat-screen TV with built in DVD player in every room. The cable channel selection was very comprehensive. The kitchen amenities were also comprehensive. There was every pan, utensil and gadget you would ever need to cook any and all meals. Even things like foil, tape, scissors, trash bags and paper towels were easily found. It seems that our every possible need was considered. rnrnWe took advantage of the great grocery store "Foodland" that was only a few miles away. It had everything we needed and everything we were used to at home, included a built in Starbucks. rnrnFor a little more of a resort type beach atmosphere, we went to Turtle Bay, just a few miles the other direction. There we found snorkling, boogie boards, lounge chairs, and a beach bar and grill. We all had a fantastic time on the North Shore. rnMy highest praise goes out to the Hale Ke Nani !! and Hawaiian Beach Rentals. I could not have imagined a more satisfying way to introduce my family to Oahu. rnMAHALO!!!!!"
