Turtle Bay Resort is located on the lands of Kuilima where the wide plains "mauka" (mountain side) of the resort are presently covered by the golf course. Kuilima means "to go arm in arm." Hawaiian legend refers to three men who walked in that manner while crossing these plains. Renovation: Hotel exterior and lanai replacement, 2001. New golf clubhouse and pro shop, 2001. 42 newley renovated Beach Cottages, 2002. Second nine holes on the Fazio Golf Course, 2002. Hang Ten poolside bar completed, 2002. Restaurant and activity center, the Sandbar at Bay View Beach completed in 2002. Improvements to the riding stables, 2002. New swimming pool and water feature, 2002. New lobby, 2002. Bay Club Lounge opened in 2002. First and Second Wing guest rooms renovated in 2002. New restaurant, Lei Lei's Bar & Grill, at the Golf Clubhouse opened in 2002. New full service spa opened in 2002. Renovation of existing ballroom, 2003. West wing of the renovated guest rooms completed in 2003. Renovation of 21 Degrees North restaurant and Palm Terrace Restaurant, 2003.

"We loved every aspect of the condo, it was clean;quiet;well stocked with sheets, towels etc. and was only a short walk to the resort and a short drive to several beaches near by.

We all fell in love with Ted's Bakery - wow! I think we went there at least 5 times! Our favorite snorkeling spot was Waimai Bay, we saw beautiful fish, coral and swam with the turtles.

I would definately recommend staying at this particular condo and can't wait till we return!!!"
