Mark was a very gracious host who made sure we felt welcome (almost like locals)--he epitomizes the Aloha spirit. New Years Fireworks in Waimanalo were off the hook! The private-feeling (though public) beach was way closer than it seemed from the description and it's an incredibly relaxing oasis. The best restaurants I found to be the Chef's Table in Hawaii Kai (808) 394-2433 & Los Garcias in Kailua (808) 261-0306. Mark's guest book was comprehensive & full of tips on where to go & what to do. Waimanallo is THE perfect location to jump off from & explore Oahu. Bottom line: Beautiful Waimanalo exceeded every expectation--Maximum Mahalo, Mark!

Close to beautiful beach and our daughter's wedding location! Towels are given for one day only. Bring some or be aware that you will have to reuse them no matter how many days you are staying. Close to grocery, small quiet town. Should have been notified that the unit is on the second floor.

Our stay at the Beautiful Waimanalo was wonderful! It was great being so close to the beach. It was nice to have the boogie boards, surfboards, chairs, beach towels, etc. all handy. The house was very clean and comfortable. We didn't spend much time indoors, but it was a great place to come "home" to at the end of the day!
