This peaceful town holds one of Oahu's most beautiful silky white sand beaches stretching over 5 miles on the coast of this little town. There are also various activities such as horseback riding, paragliding, hiking up to Makapuu Lighthouse, visiting Sea Life Park and of course the many water sports available throughout the island. If you love watching the sunrise this is undoubtedly the place for you. The sun rises every morning between Waimanalo's offshore islands (Rabbit Island and Flat Island as called by locals) and the historic Makapuu Point. It is an experience that should not be missed. .
