Kokokahi - Great location for what we needed (access to diving). House was great - clean, comfy and gorgeous view. Didn't have enough sun to take full advantage of the pool. No cable TV as billed, but DVD player was plenty. Internet access would really add to the convenience - had to pay at the local Starbucks. Easy trip to the grocery and such, great meals at Formaggio in Kailua and at Haleawa Joe's down the road from the mall on Kamehameha. We would definitely stay there again!

Lanikai Sunrise Apartment - We felt the place was comfortable and clean, a beautifully remodeled studio.

Coconut Bungalow - We can't wait to tell our friends about the Coconut Bungalow. The place is in a super location and is very comfortable and well appointed. The folks are friendly and very helpful. Our favorite thing was the early morning beach walks. We shall return.

Lanikai Sunrise Apartment - The location in Lanikai was very nice. It was nice to get up in the morning and take a jog around the neighborhood and see all the other runners and walkers. The hill behind the house was a fun hike too. We really enjoyed the soft sands and swimming in the warm waters of the beaches at Lanikai and Kailua. Next time we would like to kayak to the "Moke's" and do some snorkeling there. Haunamau bay was packed on Monday (holiday) and closed on Tuesday, so we missed our chance. Maybe next time. We had a great time watching the playoff games at the "Shack". We also enjoyed driving up the North coast and watching the surfing competition. The Breakfast at the Big City Diner was pretty tasty too! The owners paid attention to the details, like plenty of towels and TP. The flowers on the bathroon sink were a nice touch too. We would rent here again...

Turtle Bay Ocean Villa 108 - Hi,

The Turtle Bay Villas are terrific.
We would return in a heartbeat. The unit was clean, fresh, well appointed, with good views and access. The best restaurant is Ola right on the beach. The North Shore is great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the big surf along it, particularly the Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. As tourist attractions, we did not care for either the Polynesian Center or Dole Plantation -- pretty touristy and overpriced. While Turtle Bay is pricey, we thought it was good value. We're not golfers, but the two courses looked to be well laid out and maintained. The people were very courteous and helpful.

Tropical Studio - The unit was very clean an set up to relax. The family whom owned the unit are great people and so is Rudy, the family dog. All our needs were taken care of. I would recommend other people to rent it. Best part of the trip was the large waves on the North Shore and interacting with the local Hawians.

Blue Ginger - The cottage was beautifully styled and very well set up for all of our needs. Lovely outdoor spaces for relaxing, eating and enjoying the garden. The hosts are friendly and caring but not at all intrusive (and exceedingly tolerant of our children!). I would highly recommend Blue Ginger.

Hale Makani Kai - There is a restaurant close to the Kualoa ranch, called the Tropicaina Bar and Grill. Their coconut shrimp were fantastic. The banana pancakes at the Huki Lau restaurant in Laie were so good, That place is a definite stop to eat. Ask for directions. Tish, the owner (along with her husband), was great! They do have nice beach towels, I wish I had known to save room in my suitcase.

Beautiful Waimanalo - Mark was a very gracious host who made sure we felt welcome (almost like locals)--he epitomizes the Aloha spirit. New Years Fireworks in Waimanalo were off the hook! The private-feeling (though public) beach was way closer than it seemed from the description and it's an incredibly relaxing oasis. The best restaurants I found to be the Chef's Table in Hawaii Kai (808) 394-2433 & Los Garcias in Kailua (808) 261-0306. Mark's guest book was comprehensive & full of tips on where to go & what to do. Waimanallo is THE perfect location to jump off from & explore Oahu. Bottom line: Beautiful Waimanalo exceeded every expectation--Maximum Mahalo, Mark!

Underneath the Mango Tree - Loved the proximity to the beach and the town, very convenient. A very nice place to have a beach vacation. The place is nice and clean and well kept. The yard is very private and quiet at night. I would recommend the place.
