1538 Hanalei Bay Resort - would have been 100% perfect if it had a bathtub and bathroom fan. We loved thew new kitchen and only ate a restaurant 1 night in 8. Pool is spectacular - laggoon like and very tropical. Bali Hai restauant was closed the whole time and it would've been nice if we were given some real alternatives although byt day 7we found some from staff's advice. Staff is very friednly and accomodating. Bar or food service at pool should extned until sundown. Closes at 5p.m. The sheets felt "itchy" so we got some of our own but bed was surprisingly comfortabvle for a fold out. The BEST part (as fart as my husband was concerned) is teh big screen high def tv.
Turtle Bay Ocean Villa 108 - Over all I really enjoyed the amenities offered by the unit. It definitely lived up to the billing of gourmet cooking, excellent TV, Internet, beautiful bathrooms, snorkeling equipment, and fun outdoor barbecuing.
My parents in law had fun walking every day on the beach and around the Turtle Bay resort. I ended up visiting many of the local grocery stores, Ted's Bakery, Saturday's Open Market at Pipeline, sending my children to Surrat Surfing School with Uncle Bryan, and definitely enjoying Waimea Park Beach, watching my wife and kids jumping off the cliff there like experienced divers, and of course sucked in the one of a king dolphin show at noon time while they are busy nursing their babies. All in all such a great vacation.
There are a few things that I wanted to share with you:
1. The cleaning service was not that great: we found some ring a round traces in the toilets, kitchen not entirely clean
2. Lots of light bulbs were not working, and when we called we were told to wait for a week
3. I ended going to the store and purchased a bunch of light bulbs to replace for the unit myself
4. The special desk lamp in the living room was not functioning
5. We would definitely pay more for better cleaning and support service for the unit to make it a perfect vacation
6. We were assigned a parking spot but others keep using ours, so we had to use the guest parking space
All in all we really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this unit to others.
Thanks for this wonderful booking.

Waipouli Beach Resort C105 - Then unit was nice with nice upgrades that made it feel cozy. However the dishwasher did not work...I had to call 4 or 5 times to get it fixed. The first time was at 2:30 In the morning because it would not shut off and we could not find the circuit breaker (was hidden behind a mirror). When I called the remax lady she was obviously not happy with me on the phone. So one of the nicest ammenities, the dishwasher, we did not get to enjoy. We also went through about 4 different key cards....VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! THe pool was very nice, however I would of though that being a resort they would have music to enjoy outside while swimming. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Laulea - Excellent rental! It had all the amenities. Only thing is the A/C should be central throughout the whole house. The 2 masters ran on a timer, but other than that, it was terrific. Great location, very comfortable, and every convenience you can imagine. We loved it. Truly a fantastic location and trip!
Pualani Princeville - We (three couples)had a wonderful time on Kauai. The house is beautiful, it was a couple of days before we were able to see the waterfall out the back. What a wonderful sight to wake to! We took a helicopter tour that costs a lot but it was worth every penny of the cost. The things we saw made me cry tears of joy! We also snorkled in the most crystal clear water I have ever seen.
We went to the Smith luau. We ate way too much and saw a great show. I was suprised that the show lasted as long as it did, because the cost wasn't very much.
We when to Oahu one day and saw Pearl Harbor. That was very moving. I don' think that any of us liked Oahu nearly as much as we did Kauai.
We didn't get to kayak or rent a motorcycle (it rained) but hopefully some day we will get back and get to do that. We also wanted to see the Allerton Garden.
The cost of renting this house campared to a hotel was a no brainer. We got to do a lot more because we stayed here instead of in a hotel. The grill was great, the pool was warm and clean. Next time we will pack fewer clothes because of the washer & dryer. There was even spray starch!
One way to save a little money is buy your lei at WalMart instead of the airport and remember you can't take it back with you, so it may be something you might want to forget. My husband went out back every morning and got the women a flower for our hair every day. Now that we are back home I think I miss that the most. All the color and smells! We live in Georgia, so there is lots of natural beauty it is just a different beauty.
If you are considering Kauai rent this house it is well worth the money!

Waialua Retreat - Great house, location, and neighborhood. The beach access is very cool and we had the beach virtually to ourselves the entire stay. We will return and highly reccomend it to all. Oh and if you like swimming with seaturtles this house comes with a whole host of them within 10 feet of the beach.
Kihei Kahakai- 3 bedroom - This rental was very nice! The location was within walking distance to local shopping and Kalama Park beach. The pool and yard are very nice. Maui has some great snorkeling spots - we had a blast snorkeling at Kapalua Bay. Most snorkelers tended to head to the left side of the bay but the right side was much better! We ate at Mama's Fish House - awesome. Next time out, I would eat more local banana bread and avoid spending so much time and money in restaurants (most were expensive with average food/service) in favor of spending more time snorkeling. To save some money, I would head to Walmart on the way to the rental (it's located between the airport and the rental) and stock up on food/supplies there. Relax and enjoy the Aloha spirit!
Kailua OF Hideaway Ocean Side Unit - We loved waking to the sound of the ocean and the breeze was wonderful! The best part of our trip was snorkeling at various beaches around the island. Definitely check out the local "turtle town" right down the street. We waded with the turtles. Next time I would snorkel with them, but as I am a novice snorkler, I didn't feel comfortable doing that this time. I didn't have time to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and I feel like I missed out on something special so next time I will definitely do that. As far as luau's go, we went to the one at Paradise Cove (a local felt it was one of the better ones). The entertainment was interesting and somewhat educational. Food was pretty good.
Kailua OF Hideaway Mountain Side Unit - We had so much fun! We greatly appreciate the freedom of using the kitchen at the Hideaway- the unit was well stocked and we had a wonderful time! We especially appreicated the freedom to use snorkle equipment, boogie boards, bbq, umbrellas and other sand/water toys! What a treat! It was also very nice to have washer/dryer access- The unit was very quite and we greatly enjoyed many sunrises there! We look forward to returning in the future! Thanks for a wonderful stay! It will not be soon forgotten!
Blessings,

Hihimanu Main House - The home was great for a family vacation. The location was peaceful and the views from either side of the master bedroom were spectacular. The kids loved the pool, playing ping pong and watching the huge TV.
The home did have some problems during our stay such as the dishwasher didn't work as well as a few other less troublesome maintenance matters that should be monitored more carefully for such a nice (and pricey) property.
