Pikake Hale is a great house to stay in if you want to have a relaxing and no stress vacation. the home is set up great for a family, and the amentities are perfect. Kailua is a wonderful town and setting. The beach which is just a few yards away is alos fantastic. The owners have set it up perfectly. Will come back again.
Would stay here again and again. Condo is great everything you need and more. Can't say enough good things about the hosts they are terrific!!!
House is in an excellent location and perfect for vacations with extended families. Being fully equipped removes the stress of having to deal with last minute things that always crop up on a vacation.
This was a great home to vacation in. Very clean, beautiful, and lots of room. Each bedroom was it's own little get away.
The Pililani Bamboo House is at the top of our list of all the places we have stayed. A pleasant surprise as we did not anticipate the lovely and impecably manacured grounds, the great pool and tennis courts or did we expect to be alone there for a week. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hale Maluhia Ohana. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and in an excellent location. We couldn't have stayed in a better facility. We had our children with us and we were all very comfortable.

Excellent home. The security system was confusing. The rennovation was excellent. The lighting in the main area could be improved with small lamps, versus the overhead light system. The home was somewhat dusty upon arrival. We enjoyed our time there.

It is a nice cozy place, not really convenient to the beaches, it's a walk carrying beach supplies or a drive with difficult parking. The weather was great and walking to loop each day was enjoyable. A very dog friendly place.

Great place!! Very clean and the View was great!!
We vacationed with our three 82-year old parents at Kai Lani. They loved the house, particularly the big lanai. They also liked walking along the relatively flat road that runs along the ocean to the national tropical botanical garden and a small farmers market about half a mile away, or to a beach about half a mile in the other direction.
This place made our work in Hawaii a vacation.
This little house has a beautiful feel to it. After only a couple of days I was completely relaxed. Not a place to go if you are looking for anything other than quiet time.
We had a wonderful time at this rental, it was clean, well stocked in the kitchen, close to the most beautiful beach on the island, in our opinion. The pool was an added bonus, it provided a lot of fun for our 6 year old who was a little shy of the ocean. We saw the family of sea turtles at the local beach. It was very close to all the attractions while still feeling like you were in a small town. We plan on coming back soon!!!
This was the best vacation ever! The house was beautiful and welcoming, a lovely bit of paradise that the whpole family could share (we ranged in age from 5 years to 60 years). The children would have beeen happy to just stay on the beach. Mahalo from all of us.
AWESOME! The family freaked out when we first walked in and the vacation has simply amazing.
We all enjoyed our stay. We found Koa Lagoon 301 extremely well equiped and clean. The gounds are beautiful and obviously receive loving care. I would not hesitate to reccomend this property.
Very nice accommodations. Only complaint was that the towels had not been dried properly and smelled musty.

I enjoyed the stay very much. The studio is beautifully furnished. The pool is awesome. The only downside, yet rather minimal, is the weather on the windy side of Oahu, which tends to be somewhat rainy at times. It does, however, allow for a great beach day. The beach, by the way, is awesome and ideal for wind- and kitesurfing.
The BEAUTIFUL open layout of the house with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms provided plenty of shared and privated space! It's location on the beach was perfect. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES!!!!!
The view is beautiful and the distance to the beach is very close.
Nicely maintained unit. it was a quiet area, and the grounds were well maintained, too. We liked the location.
It was very clean and had everything we needed. The high fence all around it afforded the privacy, but on the other hand made you feel walled in and you couldn't see anything. We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful week. Mahola
HI, We had a nice time at your rental, however the guests up stairs we stomping around a lot... but the unit is nice. We have stayed at this unit before the new owners bought it. We hope to rent it our again some day !!! great location !!! Dan Christensen
Small but very cozy cottage. Very good access to a wonderful beach.
The place was beautiful. The pictures here explain it well, but dont do it justice. Listening to the water every night was awesome. You never get tired of just looking around its so pretty. The birdsnest is not for anyone afraid insects or gecko's! (HAHA) true... but still, what a pretty little room. Our only complaint was mosqitoes. But in the rain forest... what can u expect? Here's a tip I learned while there. Do not put on any porch lights at nite... the bugs come to the light. Leave the lights that shine on the yard and stream, then bugs dont hang by the door. Lite a citronella candle(bucket) by the door at nite to see. (At the Chevron station in princeville they sell a bug spray called Mosqitoe Shield. Smells like lemon pledge but works!)
The condo was in a very good location - close to Safeway and some good restaurants like Antonio's and Peggy Sue's. The view from the lanai overlooking the ocean was great. The beach behind the condo was not a swimming beach due to water but condo was close to Kamaole beaches about 5 minutes away. This was an older condo, comfortable but a little dated on furnishings. This particular room's master bedroom faced the main street going through Kihei so it was noisy at night with traffic noise.
Baby Honu was better than we expected. After staying in three other Kailua apartments this is the best. Despite the Hawaii style houses on the entry road that might have produced late night noise, ours was a quiet stay. The only slight problem was turning left to get out of the road through traffic.
Enjoyed our stay at Poipu Makai very much! It was a wonderful location. One morning we were treated to an hour's display of frolicing dolphins, and for four days we had anywhere from two to six sea turtles in the surf below the condo. Very quiet property and a nicely appointed unit. Upon key-return, I mentioned to Jim that your data for unit B1 needs to be updated that it DOES have a dishwasher and also a DVD/VCR unit. FYI the CD player doesn't work, but would rather listen to the surf anyhow! Owner might consider installing a shower curtain in the master bath, but this isn't a complaint.

Great house, with excellent proximity to the ocean. Likes included the pool, was EXCELLENT. Dislikes included leaving any food or water out for even a few minutes attracted a ton of little ants/bugs and for a 4 million dollar house in hawaii to not have air conditioning is kind of a deterent from wanting to stay there again. October was humid and we could have really used some a/c! Other than that, was very clean and enjoyed it!
This was the most amazing place! The home was just perfect - and the lanai was so nice, where we enjoyed all of our meals, sunrises and sunsets! Arthurena (turtle) was a joy to meet - and our children loved feeding her every day. Snorkeling in Champagne pond is my kind of snorkeling (sea turtles, fish, eels, and heated!!!) I highly recommend this home to anyone interested in staying in a true paradise!
What a great place! Honu Hale Lanikai is a great hide away and recommend this place for both kamaaina's and tourist. This will be my get away place when I need some peace from the outside world. Many thanks for making our stay a great one.
Lovely cottage, terrific location. We met the owner and she made us feel very welcome. Kailua is a great town. I highly recommend this unit to couples or two friends traveling together. It had everything we needed.

The perfect vacation cottage for two. We enjoyed being able to cool off in the air conditioned room after a hot day on the beach. The Hale Onekea was everything we imaged it to be including our great host Sylvia. Thank you again.

We enjoyed the location of the house & the small beach next to it for street access. limited outdoor furniture, only 1 chaise, the kitchen was updated and very nice.

We had a lovely time here, only comments are it would have been useful to have had the use of a hairdryer - my wife ended up buying one but then promptly forgot it when we went to Waikiki, and the only other comment is that the decor perhaps could be updated/renewed but this did not affect our enjoyment and happiness here and would be more than happy to recommend it to others. The Ocean Treehouse was the perfect place to stay. The house is gorgeous and had everything we needed. I would most would highly recommend it to anyone attending in the future and intend to return myself. 5 stars out of 5.
Beautifully furnished, spacious, very clean and generously equipped with everything that we needed for the stay and for the beach. Although not exactly on the beach, it is within easy walking distance (we could hear the gentle waves from the property). One of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been to, certainly much nicer than Waikiki, and frequented by very friendly locals, therefore relatively empty on weekdays but not overcrowded on weekends either. Plenty of restaurants/shopping within 5 minutes drive.Would certainly stay again. Waking up to sounds of the birds singing and gentle waves, blending our own fruit juice in the well-equipped kitchen, strolling down to the beach, then back again for a BBQ in the enclosed garden area... magical!

We had an excellent stay in The Lanikai Bungalow. Everything we hoped for was there. We had a great, quiet and peaceful time in this lovely bungalow! Especially all the gear provided which was in excellent condition we really appreciated. When we come back to Oahu (and we will) we certainly will book this bungalow again!
owner was very kind and friendly to us. On the first Houseday, when we arrived at the house, she guided us to the beach. It was very nice. We had such a wonderful vacation there and we would like to visit again.

We had a great time staying at the Two Duck Inn. It was a small little place that had everything we needed. My only recommendation is to get a better air conditioner, we unfortunately left with colds... :(

This house was a dream (although a bit hot). We're already planning our return trip next summer. It's great for kids and adults alike. What a great place to relax and spend time with your family.
Spa did not work for 3 days of our trip, the floors were very dusty. The view and the outside of the home were outstanding. We had a good time and would definitly come back or recommend to our friends.
We loved the house. We felt there should have been a couple of lounge chairs in order to sit on the lawn or even on the porch. Also, in the master BR upstairs there was not enough closet space and one of the locked closets (there were two) should have been available. Also, I don't know what you can do about the roosters but they started crowing at 4:00am and went on for hours which woke us up very early.
These were minor things in the overall scheme but still important.

The Two Duck Inn was wonderful. My daughter and I especially loved the wonderfully landscaped pool area and the short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend the Inn to anyone.
The beach and view are to die for. House is very comfortable, very spacious. This is a great beachhouse for a family.
Our family had a wonderful time at the Ocean Treehouse! We cannot speak highly enough for the idyllic character of Lanikai, tropical foliage waving in the breeze with a great view of of the ocean and offshore islands, exactly what Hawaii should be.
The most adorable place to stay that is fully stocked! A great walk to the beach from there too.
Noisy airconditioning
The unit is very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook with. (pots, pans, utencils). The view was great, but the noise level from The Hula grill and Whalers Village was pretty bad most of the time. It would be better to have more towels avail, as they have a hard time drying out between uses. Mid-week maid service was minimal, at best. The blankets were very scratchy and the pillows and linens were very old and worn. The biggest negative was the carpet and rugs!! They were filthy and nneed some serious attention. The decor was wonderful and super casual and relaxing. The sofa was large enough for 5-6 people and very comfy too. The lanai was big and inviting. We had fun on Maui

Wonderful house. Lots of space and outdoor living indoors. The whole house opens up. The beach and ocean are wonderful. Good house for large gatherings. It is well maintained and very comfortable. We miss it already.
I stayed at the Hale Onekea from 6 August to 9 August 2005. The hosts are delightful and the room has everthing you could possibly want. The location is excellent - while there is no view of the water, it is a 2 minute walk to Lanikai beach.
I would like to thank all of you for a great vacation that we had. The Hale Moonrise was an absolute beautiful place to spend our time. The morning sun rise was beautiful, as the evening breeze was very comforting. The sad part of such a great experience, was we had to return home. We all want to say thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful Island. We promise, we WILL return, as we didnt get to do all we wanted.We also hope we will be allowed to stay at Hale Moonrise again, as it made for many many great memorey"s.Again thanks for making a great vacation for all of us.So until we may meet again, Aloha Rick

Simply a wonder full place to stay in the paradise of Maui!
This house was great, on a river for kayaking, across the river to a very secluded beach, and just a short jaunt for hiking and snorkeling at tunnels with the sea turtles. Also very close to Hanalei Bay for some great food and surfing. Very enjoyable for the active lifestyle kauai has to offer. No air conditioning wasn't a problem with the sea breeze blowing through the screen doors. We would definately love to stay here again.
Aloha, Napili Kai Hale is an absolutely fascinating place. There is hardly to find a better house on Maui. Maholo
I enjoyed my stay at the Koa lagoon very much. Room was nice and tidy, view ,was excellent. The dishes and glasses were dirtier than expected. Also a large juice container could have been used.
Everything was great. My family both the old, middle, and young really enjoyed our time in the beach house. We hope to return next year. Dan could not have been nicer. This area is 100% better than Honolulu.
Pictures cannot possibly describe what greeted us upon our arrival to Waialua Retreat. The house was beautifully accommodating, the location to the beach (just steps!) made everyone happy, especially the kids. The serene, relaxing atmosphere was just what everyone needed. We will definitely be back next year and plan on a longer stay! Mahalo!!
Although I would normally choose a more modern condo with a little nicer beach (this one was rocky and had too much seaweed for me), this place really did have it all. It was clean upon arrival and was furnished with everything we needed, from the kitchen equipment to the extra linens to the beach chairs. The sunsets are unbelievable and the sound of the ocean is awesome. My kids really loved being able to step right out onto the beach and we could see them from the room. We were also close to everything (shopping, food, etc.) Overall, very nice for the price.
The week that my family spent at Hale Lahaina will be long remembered. The house was spacious and remarkable. The beach, the town, the pool, everything was fabulous! Thanks for a great vacation!
New AC's in the upstairs bedroom and guest house would be a great improvement.
We truly enjoyed our stay in the Plumeria Studio. The studio was very clean and had lots of personality. We also had fun lounging around the pool. It was so much better than staying in a hotel!
