The rental property was amazing and quite nicely appointed. The only issue was that it was not well stocked with items like toilet paper, low suds laundry detergent and kitchen towels. I had to purchased these items immediately upon arrival. Other than that what a great vacation spot. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a secluded get-away.

We all had a great time. I was a bit surprised that the condo was a part of such a large group of buildings, generally I prefer a smaller location with fewer people. But the grounds were beautiful and the barbeques were nice. I never used the pool becuase I rather be at a location with fewer people and the beach had good access. The work out area was not desirable. The building it self needed work I thought. The elevator smelled like strong terrible perfume..almost couldn't stand it. The condo unit itslef was nice...again for the cost would like to have seen even more upgrades. But the view was nice and the size was good enough for 6 people.
The customer service I received from Misty (the individula who rented us the unit) was great..she was helpful and gave us options and advice.
The front desk was not professional and not friendly..probably becuase the staff was busy with line ups all the time.

I didnt have time this trip, but next trip, i'm looking forward to just staying on the beach and not checking out the entire island!!

Far enough from the road to be quiet, a good restaurant at the end of the lane, a great beach only a couple of hundred yards away and another just arount the point. A pleasant change after a week in Waikiki. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The unit was fantastic. We all liked the wonderful shower, and that the kitchen was so complete in all untensils.
Ray was so willing to accomendate us, we needed two extra coffee cups to a 1/4 cup of milk, he gave us a can of condense milk.
The best part of our trip was just lounging around the suite, walking the beach when it wasn't raining, and being with family.
The kitchen was so complete that we ate all our meals there. I have already told everyone about the suite.
There is one thing that the guys have suggested, and that is the bed in the kitchen could be a hida bed, so you would have a couch to sit on when watching the T.V. (That would be only when it rains, which it did alot of while we were there.) Also maybe the T.V. in the bedroom! The girls think it was just perfect. Thank you. Hoping to coming back in the next couple of years.

The easy access to everything (pool, beach, king and queen shops) was great. If you are staying here, there is a great market in the Queen's shops for food. Also this unit had beach towels & toys, and a pack-&-play. No need to lug them to the island next time.

A spectacular setting on the Big Island! This oceanfront bungalow was exactly what we needed for rest and relaxation. The house was designed with ocean views in mind and we loved being able to see the water from nearly every room in the house. My first sight of the turtles was while I was standing in the kitchen. How amazing!!

The house was clean and had all the necessary supplies we needed. It was quaint and comfortable. The linens, dishes and towels don't match, but for us it was the setting we were there for, and that did not disappoint! We truly felt like we were experiencing the beauty of Hawai'i.

I enjoyed the swing on the lanai while reading a book from the bookshelf and a cool drink. We also enjoyed taking long walks in the area. It truly felt like we were in the heart of Hawai'i watching butterflies move from blossom to blossom. The 'ohia lehua trees, coconut palms, lauhala trees, tiare and many other plants were so beautiful.

Glorious was helpful and answered any questions we had. Booking the house was easy and the directions were easy to follow to get there. It was such a private setting and the neighbours were very friendly and respectful of our privacy.

We fell in love with the blue lagoon in the yard from the moment we set eyes on it and spent many hours sitting watching the honu (sea turtles) feeding during the day. The threadfin butterfly fish were always close to the waters edge, along with many other colorful fish. I am looking forward to getting the underwater photos developed soon!

I believe I counted 27 palm trees on the property, plumeria trees and hibiscus in the garden. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean as we fell asleep at night. We were wakened by the sound of the birds and even caught a glimpse of a shy mongoose and a couple of geckos basking in the sun out by the bamboo gate.

We told many people that week and the following week in Honolulu that we found the perfect place in paradise! While it was raining in Hilo, it was usually sunny in Kapoho.

If you plan on staying at the Kapoho Oceanfront Bungalow, I would recommend staying there for the end of your vacation if you are planning on staying on other islands. It was very hard to leave and I still dream of the lagoon and the beautiful views of the bay.

It was very hard to leave and we dream of one day coming back to stay even longer! What a lovely week we had...the most memorable of our 3 island Hawai'i vacation!

This is a great place to stay away from the typical tourist areas and yet convenient to everything.

The design of the house and the detached unit was perfect for our family. It allowed enough space and room for all ages and members to enjoy one another yet never felt crowded.
I did take down the plastic bamboo shade that was hanging alongside the washer dryer unit since every time we walked along the path, it would hit your head.
Suggestion- the bushes at the back door and the branches from the trees need to be trimmed prior to occupancy- we would need to move them in order to get from one place to another.
The proximity to the beach was perfect and the beach was beautiful and just right for little children.

WE loved the location. We will upgrade to a one bedroom next time due to small fridge but overall everthing was excellent - beyond our expectations.
