Vacation review for Peacock in Kailua, Oahu:
The Peacock house was spacious and had enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space when needed. The Two Wahines on the Beach were very responsive to our calls if we needed them. The best part of staying at the house was the daily visits from the Peacocks. We've told all our friends about them. The house is in a very, very quiet neighborhood, free from any traffic noises. However, there are lots of bird noises, peacocks honking and pidgeons and doves cooing, which we find very relaxing. The best part of our trip was visiting with family and friends. The best shopping can be found at the Aloha Swap meet on Wednesdays, Saturday and Sunday. Good restaurants in the area are L&L plate lunch places, and Big City Diner. We also like Rainbow Drive Inn and Kakaako Kitchen. We would have liked to have had a couple of beach chairs. We used the molded plastic ones, which were a little cumberson to handle, but it was just a minor inconvenience. ("Managers Note: beach chairs and boogie boards will be provided beginning Summer 2008.") We loved staying at the Peacock house and hope it's available for our next trip to Hawaii.
