Vacation review for Break Water Estates in Lahaina, Maui:

The property was beautiful. Well appointed. We are looking forward to renting this property again in the future. Only a couple of comments: the hot tub was not hot for several days (out of butane, then the pilot light was not turned on). More importantly: Please mention to future renters that pesonal safety/security should not be abandoned. Being in paradise, it's easy to forget the we are still in the real world and bad things can happen. My brother-in-law was assaulted on Baby Beach the last night of our stay. He required 40 stitches to his face. We are grateful that he was not more seriously injured. The property management was very generous in allowing us to stay a little later in the day (on the day of check-out) to allow my brother-in-law to recover a bit before flying back to the mainland.
