Vacation review for Hale Manu in Kailua, Oahu:

The rental unit was built to accommodate family and friends who understand that too much together time may not be a good thing. I loved that the rooms were far apart and you could get away from others when you wanted and have solitude. Customer Service was excellent and have no suggestion as to what could make it better. Walking 100 yards to the beach was the best part of the trip. The best restaurant for breakfast was Cinnemons (sp?). Lunch and dinner at Lucy's and the streakhouse by the canal were only adequet. My advice to anyone staying at the house is to have home dinners, delegate the duties and enjoy the lanai between the house and the garage or the beach lawn. I love that the owner is on the property and takes an active, but not overbearing interest in her guests. Everything felt safe and secure knowing someone was there.

"Plumeria Studio was just perfect for us. Private, and beautiful, well appointed with a very gracious host /owner. What I would consider the best beaches on Oahu within walking distance, situated in a small town away from the crowds, convenient to everything. Several nice restaurants, but give Buzz's a try for great seafood specialties, Pinky's for Hawaiian original dishes and Zia's Caffe' for Italian. Breakfast lovers musts; Cinnamon's, and Agnes' Portuguese Bake Shop, for the best malasadas anywhere. Mahalo to Hawaiian Beach Rentals for making it all happen."
