Vacation review for Kauhale Makai-Village By the Sea in Kihei, Maui:
What I liked about the unit was that the unit has a collection of beach-fun articles, such as: straw mat, bucket, shovel, etc. Although unused by us, it was a friendly gesture that would have provided convenience to the guests' stay. This friendliness was greatly appreciated.
Some suggestions for improvements:
a. The dining table top had some circular marks that appeared to have been there due to previous guests' wet glasses. I would suggest that those marks be somehow cleaned to improve the unit appearance.
b. We found the fold-out queen bed uncomfortable. Instead of sleeping on the bed, we slept on the couch. My 11-old child slept on the floor on the couch cushions. It worked for us, but, a little awkward.
