The Big Island is really just that, the biggest of the Hawaiian Islands. And it is still growing. An active volcano contributes to the island’s mass every year. Going there you will not only get to see the active volcano but you will gain a better understanding as to how the islands originally formed. You can also learn about diverse ecosystems, marine life, rainforests, and even get to see a snowcapped mountaian … in Hawaii!
While you are staying there, be sure to stay at in one of the Big island condos. In a condo you will feel at home and relaxed with much more privacy than in a hotel. Make cocktails and snacks in your kitchen, enjoy them on the balcony, and later, go for a dip in your pool. Staying in a condo really enhances the Big Island experience.
