Are you bored with the same vacation over and over? You stay in an all inclusive resort, eat so much you gain about ten pounds, and all you do is lay around, beachside with the one walk into town for souvenir shopping. That was fun at first but now it is time for your vacation to have a little spice, a little culture. You should head to an adventurous place like the Big Island of Hawaii. Big Island vacations are exciting and educational all at the same time. The topography of the island is such that you can visit a snow-capped mountain, walk along the beach, and hike in a tropical rain forest all in the same day. The active volcano makes for a thrilling experience also. Check it out by land or air. Then, when you can, you must go see (and taste) the Kona coffee plantation. There is a reason that it is among the most expensive coffees around. On the Big Island you can have it all. You can do the beach lounging, stuffing yourself, souvenir shopping thing AND have the adventures of a lifetime all in the same vacation.
