Hawaii, the Big Island, isn’t quite like Texas; not everything is big. However, if you do indeed need a big vacation rental on Hawaii, you can surely find it. The place to go is hawaiianbeachrentals.com. They offer the largest selection of accommodations on the internet. You’ll find what you’re looking for no matter is you want to stay on the dry side of the island, the wet side of the island or somewhere in between. That space in between is actually quite large. Hawaii is called the Big Island due to it being the largest of the chain. It is so big that it actually has two different faces and it’s all watched over by volcanoes. The snow-capped Mauna Kea and the steaming Mauna Loa keep an eye out over the whole island.
On the west is the sunny Kona side, famous for its coffee. Its parched lava strewn lowlands and vegetation rich uplands are a treat for tourists. Kailua-Kona is the social and economic center of the island. The uplands vary from the largest ranch in Hawaii and other ranch lands to the southern hillsides that are planted with coffee, vanilla orchids, macadamia nuts and other tropical fruits. It’s a great place to sit and view the island while sipping a cup of world famous Kona coffee. The coast is lined with upscale resorts and beautiful beaches which you’ll see on your way to the east side which is more like a rain forest. Hilo used to be one of the major centers on the islands but now is more of a art/tourist town with some wonderful museums and shopping. One of the highlights of Hawaii and a must see is Volcanoes National Park. Kilauea is the only consistently active volcano on earth. Plan your trips accordingly; Hawaii after all, is the Big Island.
