Free Tennis when staying at Kauai Vacation Rentals
November 20th, 2007
Do you like to play tennis? Has your vacation activity budget run out? One thing you may not know about Kauai is that when staying at a Kauai vacation rental, you can play tennis for free. All public tennis courts in Kauai are free to the locals and to all visitors. The public tennis courts are available only on a first come first serve basis but as long as you do not mind sharing they are free! You can find many of these public courts through out the island. Some of these free tennis courts are even lighted for play at night if one desires. In Kauai, many of the public courts are county courts. These free courts can be found in the following areas: Hanapepe, Kalaheo, Kapaa, Kekeha, Koloa, and Wailua. Additional courts can be found in Lihue, Poipu, Princeville and Wailua. The additional courts are not free and do charge a fee for public play. After relaxing at your Kauai Vacation rental, break out a racket and go play tennis. Need some gear? Stop by the local tennis shop and pick some up, or rent a racket and some balls for just the basics. Hit up fellow vacationers for a couples match or just play one on one with those you are traveling with. Regardless, playing tennis in Kauai is a great way not only to get some exercise, but also to save a buck or two.
