My wife and I and a friend are coming to Kauai for a week in November. Our friend’s time-share resort is located near Princeville. None of us have ever been to Kauai although I was stationed in Pearl Harbor with the Navy back in the 1970’s. We have heard much about this “most beautiful of the islands” and would like to see an orchid farm while there and get some nice photos. Can you suggest a place and tell us what the cost might be? Aloha Leonard. I would try Kauai Orchids or Kauai Nursery. There’s also a little orchid shop in Kapaa town on Kuhio Hwy near Pizzetta. This is where I get all my orchids for mother’s day!
