My neice & nephew will be married ten years on April 1, 2010. I am searching for ideas on just what I can do as they wish to renew their wedding vows. I was considering the Fern Grotto and yes where Elvis had filmed Blue Hawaii. There will only be the two of them plus her aunt & Uncle.
I want it to be memorable for them but I need to keep the expense reasonable as well. Since our families cannot be there it would be very intiment.
Could you provide me with some suggestions.

Aloha Elaine. The fern grotto is very popular for weddings and wedding vow renewals. I like fern grotto, but the boats that take you up there spew a lot of diesel fumes, which in my opinion, takes the romance out of it. You also mentioned the location where Blue Hawaii was filmed. That hotel is Coco Palms which is currently condemned.
I would recommend speaking to a Kauai wedding coordinator. They will have lots of great ideas. Our recommendation for a Kauai wedding planner is Kauai Aloha Weddings. Ask for Haunani. They do a great beach vow renewal for under $400. What could be more romantic then renewing your vows on a beautiful Kauai beach close to sunset time?
