You should plan on vacationing on the island in the month of March to really see a real surfing treat. During the month of March the island of Maui is host to the annual Maui Scholastic Surfing Championship. This event is held every year at Lahaina Harbor on the island of Maui. You can attend this event while vacationing on the island of Maui and when there you should really choose a great place to stay.
