What to Pack When Staying in Oahu Condo Rentals

April 16th, 2008

To start with the variables are vast depending on several things. One is what part of the world do you currently live in and how is the weather compared to Hawaii? If you currently live in a desert area such as the Southwest in the United States then the weather in Hawaii will have a different effect on you than if you live in climate such as the Northeast in the United States or if you live in England. For those in warm climates the winter in Hawaii may be a little like the winter in your neck of the woods so to speak. The nights are cool and the days are moderate. However, if you planning on staying in one of the many Oahu condo rentals available at HawaiianBeachRentals.com then you’ll find the nights are warm and wonderful in the winter compared to the bone chilling nights in your hometown. Those from England may find it dry, just like those in the Northwestern states. Of course if you plan to visit the wettest place on earth in Kauia, everyone will find it damp there compared to where they reside.

Given that one variable you will have to consider what you will feel like doing during the day. If you are playing golf for instance, you will probably be comfortable in shorts or nice slacks no matter what climate you are accustomed to. However, if you are planning on water sports then those used to a warm or hot dry heat may need more to cover up upon leaving the water than those accustomed to a much cooler environment. The same goes for the evenings. In the winter a jacket will be needed by those desert rats while those from cold climates will be thinking the desert rats are crazy.
