Every year the islands of Hawaii are host to a number of high profile and premier races for running whether it be distance running or just short relays or just fundraisers. The reason the islands are so popular for racing events is that the islands have essentially year around perfect temperatures, the islands are beautiful places to visit and travel to, and the terrain is so varied it is perfect for any type of race you could really think of. The island of Oahu in Hawaii is no different and it is too a host of many great races throughout the year. One such race is the Straub/Kapiolani 10K race which is a premier women’s race that is a true showcase of running talent from all over the place. If you would like to attend this event to either participate or cheer on a participant you will want to stay in the best place possible. The best place to stay in Oahu is an Oahu beach house. The beach house will be a great way to vacation and will improve your vacation stay as well.

The Straub/Kapiolani 10K race is a race that is 6.2 miles long and takes runners from Kapiolani Park through Diamond Head and through Kahala and then back to Kapiolani Park. The scenery along the way is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking in places. After the race you will be able to go back to the Oahu beach house and just relax and be comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and just enjoy. The location of the Oahu beach house will be perfect too for whatever it is you would like to do in addition to the race while on the island of Oahu.
