<p>Take the Queen Kaahumanu Highway and

turn makai (toward the ocean) into the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Turn left in the

direction of the Lava Lava Beach Club. The entrance to the bay is at the end of

the road.</p>

<p>One of the more popular beaches

along the Kohala Coast, Anaehoomalu Bay is a gorgeous beach complete with a

sandy shoreline, calm and gentle conditions. This beach is perfect for sunning,

sailing, swimming and snorkeling for all ages. The beach offers a fresh water

showers, public bathrooms and a large parking lot. The beach is adjacent to

ancient Hawaiian fishponds where visitors are welcome to enjoy a self guided

tour of the ancient fishponds, native plants and historic sights. </p>

<p>The calm clear waters are perfect

for all levels of swimmers and ocean activities in this protected bay, the

winter months bring stronger waves and currents so caution is advised.</p>
