The Beach Course opened in 1981 and is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design mixing challenging play with oceanfront scenery and postcard views of Hawaii golf at its best.

The Beach Course plays several holes oceanfront and is designed as resort play, meaning it is both scenic and challenging. Lush landscaping contrasts the rugged terrain, palms and ornamental trees line the large forgiving fairways.

From Kona Airport: Head north on Hi-route 19, aka Queen Kaahumanu Highway for 17 miles looking for Waikaloa Beach Drive on your left. Follow signs for Waikaloa Resort Golf Courses. 26 minutes drive.

From Hilo: Head west on HI-route 200 aka Saddle Rd to Daniel K. Inouye Hwy follow it over the mountain pass (33 miles)and it will come to Mamalahoa Highway, turn right. Follow Mamalahoa for approximately 9 miles looking for left turn onto Waikaloa Road.  Follow Waikaloa Road until it intersects Highway 19, turn left and proceed for 11 miles looking for Waikaloa Beach Road on the right. Follow the signs for the Golf Course.
