About Waipouli Vacation Rentals
Our Waipouli vacation rentals offer luxury and relaxation on Kauai's eastern shore which is fondly known as the "Coconut Coast." This region includes Kapaa, Waipouli and Wailua and is known for its balmy tradewind weather and scenic beauty.

Things To Do
Kauai's east shore has numerous things to see and do including viewing Wailua and Opaekaa Falls, taking a flat-bottom riverboat ride up the Wailua River to the Fern Grotto, and of course a plethora of beach activities including snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, stand up paddleboarding and of course just lying on a beautiful Kauai beach and enjoying the tropical Hawaiian day!

Waipouli Beach Park, also known as Baby Beach and Fuji Beach, has a rock barrier that creates a protected shallow area that is good for children. About half mile south is another beach in front of the Waipouli Beach Resort.

From Waipouli you can enjoy the beaches and attractions of the east side or head north to Princeville, Hanalei and the north shore beaches, or south to the sunny Poipu resort area. A great day trip is to drive up along the rim of Waimea Canyon taking in spectacular views including a glimpse at the Na Pali Coast from the lookout point at the top of the mountain.

Eat and Shop
The Waipouli Town Center has a Foodland grocery store and various shops as well as places to eat. Kids enjoy the Fun Factory video arcade here, and you can stop in for a gourmet espresso drink at The Coffee Bean.

Avid shoppers will enjoy browsing through the historic wooden-front shops in Old Kapaa town. One of the area's most unique stores is Kela's Glass Gallery with exquisite handmade glass art including vases, bowls and much more, and crafting is happening on site!

Near the Wailua Bridge is a clothing and gift shop called Bambulei where you can find some unique items including jewelry and Hawaiian collectibles. The store is located in restored 1930s-era plantation homes.

For authentic Mexican food try Monaco's in the Kinipopo Shopping Village which also features art galleries, a pastry shop, clothing store and great breakfasts at Tutu's Soup Hale. At the north end of Kapaa check out the Kauai Products Fair featuring a wide assortment of booths selling produce, flowers, red dirt shirts and lots of local arts and crafts.

Getting Around
A rental car is recommended when staying in Waipouli vacation rentals so you can explore the Coconut Coast towns and beaches as well as Kauai's many other sites and attractions from Waimea Canyon to the north shore and the Na Pali Coast
