Our ocean front home sits on a cliff directly in front of and above the ocean and only a single flight of stairs separates you from a secluded bay with white pristine sands. You can hear and see the ocean from the Master bedroom and living room area. You also have unobstructed views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai from these rooms. The townhouse has recently been remodeled; but because it is not fully remodeled, (the furniture is older plantation style and the kitchen is not remodeled), it is offered at lesser rate per night less than those that are fully remodeled and similarly located. The two full bathrooms upstairs and the half bathroom on the ground floor have been upgraded since the original construction. The king bed in the master bedroom is new as are the two twins in the second room. The downstairs area and upstairs Master bedroom were just painted and new ceiling fans and light fixtures installed. The carpet is only a couple of years old. New large flat screen TVs are in the living room and Master bedroom. This unit sleeps 4 guests since there is no sofa sleeper. There is no AC. Our home is two stories high. On the lower level you have a half bathroom as you enter, then a full kitchen with an expansive view of the ocean, followed by a dinning and living room with direct unobstructed views of the ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Outside is a lanai with table and chairs , a grassy area to the right and a walk way down to the beach. High speed wireless internet service is available at no extra charge. The upstairs has two bedrooms each with it's own full bathroom. The Master-bedroom faces directly out towards the ocean. It has a new King size bed, flat screen TV, and a very large lanai with two lounge chairs and a table. You do not have to close the curtains at night for privacy; your neighbor is the ocean. Keep the glass sliding door open and allow its sound to lull you to sleep. The second bedroom has two new twin beds that can be moved together and a TV.
Our home is very private, there is no need to walk in front of other units to access the beach; and, unlike units that are on the beach, your privacy will not be disrupted by guests coming and going to the beach. You do not have to venture far from the townhouse to enjoy the serenity of Maui. You can watch families of giant sea turtles from your living room lanai or take a few steps and lean over the railing at the edge of the cliff for a birds eye view. You can read a book or simply gaze out at the ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai from the beach or the lanai on the ground or second floor of our home; or you can simply stay indoors and catch a ball game on one of our new state of the art LED televisions. There is lots to do. You can watch sail boats out on the horizon while basking in the Maui Sun. The warm and relaxing water is great for swimming, splashing around, and excellent snorkeling. The waves and ocean depth are family-friendly, while still offering a few nice sets of waves here and there for the body surfers in the family. Try paddle boarding or paddling a canoe or kayak. Swimming and snorkeling at the beach is great, but the Kahana Sunset also offers a heated swimming pool and adjoining children's pool as another great option to lounge and relax. You will experience some of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable as you grill your dinner out by the ocean with drink in hand. In the winter months we are blessed with humpback whales breaching off shore. Our complex is relatively small, and is bordered on both sides by private homes which means our beach is usually only visited by our owners and guests. A private security firm checks our grounds and parking lot every evening.Should you care to leave the property you will find yourself close to excellent restaurants, world class golf courses, tennis and the nearby town of Lahaina where you will also find good restaurants, great entertainment and lots of shopping opportunities.Guests must pay a $60 check-in Fee directly to the Front Desk along with a $14/day parking.Photos are representative of the property and may differ from the actual unit that is reserved.Tax Number: TA--02.
