La Provence

This quaint, cozy, hill-side cafe is brimming over with rustic charm, tantalizing aromas, and a well-varied menu of mouthwatering pastries, crepes, eggs benedict, and more. The owner/chef is French, and everything about the captivating little eatery is reminiscent of Europe, from the name to the decor to the service and cuisine.

La Provence is known for having slow service, so arrive prepared and allow yourself to relax and savor the experience including the wait if there is one. The food and stunning views are sure to make up for it.

At a Glance:
Whether you're looking for a simple coffee and pastry or a full lunch/brunch, La Provence has you covered with high-quality, local-inspired French favorites ranging from apricot tarts and chocolate croissants to eggs benedict and crepes. There is no indoor seating, but a partially-covered outdoor terrace, surrounded by lush Hawaiian color and beautiful views, offers ample seating in a fresh, charming atmosphere.

The restaurant is located on the slopes of the Haleakala Volcano in Kula, a beautiful mountain-side stretch of Maui whose higher elevation creates refreshingly cooler temps, pure air, and idyllic panoramic views of south and west Maui.
