Weather and Ocean Conditions
Lahaina is known for its sunny, warm weather with temperatures typically in the mid-70s, a bit cooler at times during the winter and warmer during the summer. Trade winds usually make for comfortable conditions and balmy weather. If you travel to higher elevations like the summit of Haleakala Volcano expect much cooler temperatures.
Lahaina ocean conditions are typically quite calm and great for relaxing days at the beach. However Hawaii ocean conditions are always changing and it's best not to enter the water during times of high surf and strong currents.
