Star Noodle

Although hidden away in an "off-the-beaten-path" area of Lahaina, Star Noodle is one of west Maui's best restaurants, offering up a unique twist on Asian cuisine in a sleek, clean modern space. The menu features a variety of tapas-style "share plates," noodles, and desserts, as well as a full bar and cocktail menu with extensive sake options.

At a Glance
Star Noodle is located on the mauka (mountain) side of the highway, just a short drive up Keawe St from the Lahaina Gateway shopping center. Parking is easier since it is outside of the main part of town, however it is a popular restaurant and during the dinner hours the wait can be up to an hour or two. There is no real 'waiting area' inside the restaurant, so arrive early, get a reservation, or be prepared to wait outside!

Many of the menu's items are meant to be shared, and are served in small portions so that several dishes can be ordered and sampled by the table. Noodle entrees have the option of being ordered in a small portion (to accompany one of the share plates,) or a larger, full meal portion.

Seating is available at the bar, and the rest of the restaurant's dining area features a combination of small, single-party tables and longer tables for 'communal' dining. Service is fast and friendly, and guests who are having to wait for a table can always grab a sake-infused cocktail from the bar to help pass the time!
