Deep Sea Fishing with Maui Fun Charters

Plan a morning aboard the Marjorie Ann during your Maui vacation for a deep sea fishing adventure that will provide you with an unforgettable experience as well as dinner! The Marjorie Ann is a 36' Chesapeake Bay fishing boat with ample space, a comfortable cabin, and lots of shade. Equipped with the latest electronic gadgets and fishing tackle, as well as an onboard head, she has been home to countless deep sea fishing and charter adventures since her purchase by Maui Fun Charters in 2010. Maui Fun Charters takes out small groups only, so guests are ensured a highly personalized and uncrowded experience.

HIGHLIGHTS:
The Marjorie Ann is docked at slip #97 in the Ma'alaea Harbor, conveniently located between Lahaina and Kihei in West Maui.

Bottom fishing tours depart daily at 7:30 am, and return around 11:30 am. The experienced captain and crew take guests to all of the best fishing grounds in the area, providing hands-on help and instruction to beginners. Bait and tackle are provided, and on the way back to the harbor the crew fillets the fish and packages it on ice for guests to take home with them.

Commonly caught fish include blue line snapper, gray snapper, giant trevally, blue fin trevally, gold spot trevally, amberjack, black surgeon triggerfish, pink tail triggerfish, and the hawaiian hogfish.

While trolling to and from the fishing spots, the captain and crew will drag artificial lures to catch other types of fish including mahimahi and tuna.

Maui Fun Charters also features the lowest private charter option on Maui. Private charters are ideal for sport fishing, sight seeing, sunset cruises, whale watching (during winter months), and more.
