Monkeypod in south Maui serves up a a menu of locally-sourced, inspired culinary creations in an eclectic, modern space that fuses laid-back island charm with sleek style. A branch of the Merriman Restaurant group, Monkeypod opened in Wailea in 2011 and features 36 craft brews on tap served at 29 degrees, a varied menu of Hawaiian and traditional American fare, a kiawe wood pizza oven, unique, tropically-inspired cocktails, and live music.
Just a short drive south of Kihei, Wailea is a beautiful area of South Maui known for its stunning resorts, as well as the popular Big Beach (Makena State Park.)
